- Muslims believe Jesus was a mighty messenger of God, but not the son of God. They believe he was born miraculously to Mary by God's will, similar to Adam's creation from dust.
- The document discusses several Christian claims that Jesus is the son of God, but provides counterarguments from the Quran and Bible showing the terms "son" and "begotten son" are metaphorical and also applied to other prophets. It argues Jesus' lack of a father does not make him divine.
- Overall, the document aims to explain the Muslim view that while they respect Jesus, he was a human prophet and not equal to God or the only path to salvation, contradicting some Christian doctrines.

Lesson 2 Do We Worship the Same God? Are All Muslims the Same?Austin Boyd
The document discusses whether Christians and Muslims worship the same God and whether all Muslims are the same. It argues that Allah and Yahweh are not the same based on key theological differences between Islam and Christianity around Jesus, salvation, and the Trinity. It acknowledges areas of agreement but also significant disagreement between the two faiths. It then discusses the diversity within Islam between secularists, modernists, traditionalists, fundamentalists, and jihadists.
The Quran considers Jesus a prophet and messenger of God, like others such as Abraham and Moses. While Jesus is respected, the Quran rejects that he is part of a divinity or anything more than a human being. It emphasizes the oneness of God and rejects the Christian concept of the Trinity. The Quran presents Jesus' message as continuing that of prior prophets in preaching monotheism and righteousness.
The document discusses several proofs used by Christians to argue that Jesus is God. It analyzes the biblical passages in context and provides counterarguments. For "I and my Father are one", the context shows they were one in purpose, not physical form. For "Before Abraham was, I am", Jesus was referring to existing before Abraham metaphorically, not physically. It notes others like Adam and Solomon were also called sons of God without being divine. The document concludes Jesus is the son of Mary, a prophet, and not God.
The document discusses the similarities between Christianity and Islam, highlighting their shared beliefs in one God, Jesus and his miracles, prophets like Adam, Noah and Moses, the afterlife, Satan and the antichrist. It notes that while the Bible and Quran prohibit pork and alcohol, only the Quran prohibits veils and circumcision. The document argues that based on these and other similarities, Christianity and Islam share the same origins, and questions which religion has diverged more from the original teachings of the Bible. It provides examples of verses from the Bible that it argues support Islamic beliefs like Jesus not being God and prophecies about Muhammad.
The document discusses Mary, the mother of Jesus. It notes that she was chosen from the beginning to bear the Son of God, as foretold in the Bible and Quran. It also discusses the prominent roles of Mary in Christian doctrine and devotion, such as her Immaculate Conception and Assumption, as well as prayers and feasts in her honor like the Rosary and Angelus.
The document discusses the presence of God through several biblical examples. It begins by summarizing Moses' encounter with God through the burning bush that was not consumed by fire. When Moses drew closer, God called out his name twice and told him to remove his sandals as he was standing on holy ground. The document emphasizes developing reverence in God's presence and encourages spending time with Him in prayer and reading Scripture to get to know His voice. The overall message is that there is freedom, transformation, and life found through meeting God in His presence.
The document discusses the oneness of God (Allah) from both Christian and Islamic perspectives. It provides quotes from the Bible and Quran emphasizing that God is one and has no partners. It also discusses the status of Jesus in Islam, stating that Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet but not divine. The document outlines the five pillars of Islam that form the basis of Islamic faith and worship.
The document discusses who Jesus is according to the Bible. It summarizes that Jesus is the Lord God Almighty, the Savior of the world, the Messiah, the Lord of all creation, the Son of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Educators, religious people, and politicians all have their opinions about Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, but what does the Bible say? This slideshare will present the hard truth about Allah of Islam and Yahweh of the Bible.

When I see God saying: All things are possible to those who believe, I really cannot accept it. Because if you ask every Christian if they have faith, they will say yes, but can they do everything? If it were possible, nine out of ten things would be impossible, leaving only sighs. So why is it possible to do everything? In this article, we also explain the world’s belief, and the examples that are brought from the scriptures and then into the world, because only by staying in the Bible can we do everything, because we are not capable. , but the power of Jesus Christ within us, for He rules over all things and His decrees stand.
We all will leave a legacy whether it is good or bad is up to us. This lesson deals with legacy of Moses and why he was and is so loved by so many. The audio as well as the power point slides can be viewed together at www.cmcoc.org
This document discusses similarities and differences between Christianity and Islam based on what is written in the Bible and Quran. It claims that the two religions share many foundational beliefs but that the Bible has been altered over time from its original form. Several passages from the Bible are presented to argue that Jesus is not God and was sent by God, contradicting the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. The document also argues that the name of the prophet Muhammad and prophecies about him as an unlettered prophet can be found in the Bible. It encourages examining these ideas and viewing related debates.
LORD JESUS CHRIST makes several claims in the Bible that only God can make, such as forgiving sins, judging mankind, and granting eternal life. He accepts worship from his disciples and others, showing he believed himself to be divine. While Muslims argue Jesus never directly said "I am God, worship me", he made statements that imply divinity, such as claiming to be the "First and the Last" and existing before the world was created. The document examines passages in the Bible and Quran to demonstrate Jesus' deity and that he is worthy of worship as God.
This document provides guidance on how to win Muslims to accepting Jesus Christ as Lord through respectful discussion of the Bible and Quran. It recommends starting with passages emphasizing monotheism and God's love for all people. It notes some irreconcilable differences between the texts, such as accounts of Noah's sons and Jesus' death. It encourages living out Christian principles of morality and family while clarifying misunderstandings about the Trinity and Virgin Birth. The document stresses showing love, answering questions patiently, and inviting Muslims to church to experience Christian fellowship.
The document summarizes a debate between Christians and Muslims on television in South Africa about their respective religions. It notes that the Muslims on the panel expressed belief in Jesus as a prophet, which surprised many Christian viewers. The rest of the document discusses how the Quran portrays Jesus and Mary in a reverent light, mentioning them frequently and with honorific titles. It asserts that the Quran's teachings about them could not have been plagiarized by Muhammad since he was illiterate.

The document discusses the origins and creation of important religious figures according to the Quran. It describes how Adam was created from dust, Eve from Adam's rib, Mary from the semen of her parents, and Jesus from Mary's womb without a father. The document also notes that Jesus is referred to as the Messiah, Christ, and Christ Jesus in different languages. It provides verses from the Quran stating that Mary and Jesus ate food like normal humans, and that Jesus was a prophet and not divine as he did not claim to be God.
This document discusses Islam's prohibition of alcohol and gambling based on verses from the Quran. It notes that while alcohol and gambling may provide some benefits to men, their harms outweigh any benefits. The document also discusses hadith that convey Muhammad being offered alcohol but choosing milk instead and warnings about the signs of the hour including increased alcohol consumption. Additionally, it discusses biblical passages prohibiting wine consumption and bishops being given to wine. The document further discusses Islam, Judaism and Christianity's prohibition of pork/swine and blood based on relevant scriptural verses and also covers health issues associated with consuming pork like trichinosis and swine influenza.
Allah (SWT) is the one and only God who created everything. He created humans to worship Him alone through obedience and submission (Ibaadah). The purpose of human life is to fulfill the role of Khalifa by governing earth and maintaining order according to Allah's laws. Failing to worship or obey Allah makes humans lower than even animals and risk being misguided from the righteous path.
This document provides information about the origins and founders of various religions. It discusses how Muslims believe all prophets from Adam to Muhammad came from God. It then gives details on the creation of Adam from dust, Eve from Adam's rib, Mary being chosen by God and giving birth to Jesus miraculously without a father. The document compares these origins and kinds of creation. It emphasizes Islamic beliefs that God has no partners or sons, as stated in the Quranic verse provided.
Islam considers zina (unlawful sexual acts) to be a grave sin that destroys families and spreads disease. The Quran and hadith describe zina as shameful and warn that those who commit it will face severe punishment in both this life and the hereafter, such as lashes, stoning, the opening of doors to Hell in one's grave, and divine anger on Judgment Day. Zina refers to both extramarital sex and adultery, and its punishment can only be enacted through eyewitness testimony or confession. Islam strongly prohibits all unlawful sexual acts like incest, homosexuality, and adultery.
This document discusses the key beliefs in Allah (God) in Islam. It explains that Allah is the one and only God worthy of worship, as described in the Quran. The purpose of life according to Islam is to worship Allah alone through obedience to His commands and avoidance of what He prohibits. Seeking knowledge of Islam through studying the Quran and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad is an important act of worship. Fulfilling this purpose leads to rewards in this life and the hereafter, while rejection of Allah's laws results in loss.
This document discusses Islamic teachings on sin and repentance. It provides verses from the Quran indicating that all humans are born pure and sin is an acquisition rather than an inheritance. Each person is responsible for their own actions. True repentance requires sincerely intending not to repeat sins, seeking forgiveness from those wronged, and feeling guilt. Allah is close to those who call on Him for forgiveness with a sincere heart. The most superior form of repentance involves acknowledging Allah's blessings and asking forgiveness for sins.
Ash-Shirk refers to polytheism or ascribing divine powers to beings other than Allah. There are three main types of Ash-Shirk:
1. Ash-Shirk al-Akbar, or major polytheism, includes acts like worshipping idols or other deities instead of Allah.
2. Ash-Shirk al-Asghar, or minor polytheism, involves acts of worship done to gain praise rather than to please Allah.
3. Ash-Shirk al-Khafi refers to inconspicuous polytheism, like being inwardly dissatisfied with fate decreed by Allah. Believers must avoid any type of shirk to
Gabriel is shown both Paradise and Hell by Allah. When viewing Paradise, Gabriel is in awe of its beauty and says no one who hears of it will refrain from entering. However, when Allah commands hardship be placed around Paradise, Gabriel fears no one will be able to enter. Hell is shown to be terrible, with layers of punishment. The document then describes the features of Paradise in detail, including gardens, flowing rivers, immortal youths, delicious foods and drinks. Residents will be adorned in fine clothes and jewelry and reside in bliss forever.
This document discusses the topic of oppression and injustice. It provides definitions of oppression, quotes hadiths and verses from the Quran that condemn oppression. It describes different forms of oppression like taking property unjustly, abuse of power, and withholding wages. The hadiths emphasize that oppressors will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment, when their good deeds will be taken and given to their victims. The document stresses that Allah will not forgive those who violate the rights of others and that oppressing even one person is a serious sin.
The document discusses proper etiquette and guidelines for Muslim prayer (salah). Some key points:
1) Ablution (wudu) before prayer is strongly emphasized, and praying on time, especially joining congregational prayers.
2) Praying in the mosque is preferred to praying at home, even for those with disabilities. Neighbors of the mosque should pray there.
3) Delaying or neglecting prayers is strongly warned against. Prayer is the first thing one will be judged by on the Day of Judgment.
4) Specific prayer postures like bowing, prostrating, removing shoes are outlined. Five daily prayers are prescribed.

The Doctrine of the Divine Sonship of Jesus
1.
2. • We Muslim believe that Jesus was one of the
mightiest Messengers of Allah that he was the Christ
that he was born miraculously without any male
intervention that he gave life to the dead by Allah’s
permission and he healed those born blind and the
lepers by Allah’s permission.
• In fact no Muslim is a true Muslim if he or she does
not believe in Jesus.
3. • Narrated by Abu Huraira I heard Allah's
Apostle saying, "I am the nearest of all the
people to the son of Mary, and all the
prophets are paternal brothers, and there has
been no prophet between me and him
(Jesus)." (S. A. Hdth. 4.651)
4. WE MUSLIM LOVE AND RESPECT
MARY
• We Muslim love and respect Mary, in fact in the Holy Qur’an there is an
special chapter of Mary which is called Surah Maryam (Chapter Mary),
but in the scriptures before you will find books name after; Mathew,
Luke, Mark, John, Peter, Paul and two score more obscure names, but
not a single one is that of Jesus or Mary.
• MARY CHOSEN BY GOD
• Quran 3:42 And remember when the angel said: ‘O Mary! Verily Allah
has chosen you, purified you and chosen you above the women of the
Alamin (all mankind and the jinn).
• ‘O MARY! SUBMIT YOU’RE SELF TO ALLAH
• Surah Al-Imran 3:43 O Mary! Submit you’re self with obedience to your
Rub and prostrate your self, and bow down along with those who do so.
5. WE MUSLIM BELIEVED THE
MIRACULOUS BIRTH OF JESUS
• THE ANGEL CAME AND INFORMED MARY
• Surah Maryam, 19:19 (The angel) said “I am only a messenger
from your Rub, to announce to you the gift of a righteous son.”
• HIS NAME WILL BE CHRIST JESUS THE SON OF MARY
• Surah Imran, 3:45 “Behold the Angels said: ‘O Mary, Allah gives
you glad tidings of a word from Him: (Be and he was) his name
will be Christ Jesus the son of Mary, held in honor in this world
and in the Hereafter and of the company of those nearest to
Allah.”
6. Quran 3:46 He shall speak to the people in
childhood and in maturity and he shall be (the
company) of the righteous.
•THE SIMILITUDE OF JESUS
Al-Imran, 3:59 “Say the similitude of Jesus before
Allah is that of Adam He created him from dust,
then said to him: be and he was.
7. • The Muslim cannot be a true Muslim if he or she doesn’t believed
Jesus as one of the mightiest messenger of God.
• And we believed his miraculous birth that he was born without a
father but trough the body of Mary by the will of Allah. So, the
creation of his miraculous birth is the same exactly to Adam; Allah
created him from dust, and then said to him: be and he was.
• Ar-Ram 30:20 Among His Signs is this, that He created you (Adam)
from dust; and then Eve from Adam’s rib, and then his offspring
from the seamen, and) Behold you are human beings scattered!
8. • Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4 Say: He is Allah, the One!
• Allah the Eternal Absolute
• He begets not nor is He begotten
• And there is none like unto Him.
• Al- Imran 3:50-51 And Jesus said: I have come to you with
a proof from your lord so fear Allah and obey me. Truly
Allah (The Almighty God) is my Lord and your Lord, so
worship Him (alone). That is a straight path.
9. • PROOF # 1 --- JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD
• The Christian concept of belief of the divine son
shipped of Jesus base in what written in the Bible.
• Mathew 3:17 And a voice from heaven, saying, this is
my beloved son, in which I am well pleased.
• The Christian of today used this verse (Mathew 3:17)
as one of their evidence that Jesus is the son of God.
10. • They should not accept the word son literally, because many prophets
and we people are called in the Bible also sons of God.
• ISRAEL IS MY FIRST BORN == Exodus 4:22 Thus saith the lord; Israel is my
son, even my first born.
• AND SOLOMON SHALL BE MY SON === 1st Chronicles 22:10 He shall
build a house for my name: and he shall be my son, and I will be His
father and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.
• ALL OF YOU === Psalm 82:6 All of you are children of the most high.
• AND I WILL BE A FATHER UNTO YOU === 2nd Corinthians 6:18 And I will
be a father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the
lord almighty.
11. THE WORD FATHER AND SON,
SOMETIMES IS NOT BIOLOGICAL MEANS
• It is just respect and love.....when you call a
priest father.....he does not become your
biological father.....when an elderly person call
you son......it is for love.....it does not mean you
become biological son.
• JESUS SAID: TOUCH ME NOT!
• John 20:17 Touch me not: for I am not ascended
to my father, and your father: and to my God,
and your God.
12. • PROOF # 2 --- BUT JESUS THE BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD?
• John 3:16 For God so love the world, that he gave His only
begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
• AND HOW ABOUT DAVID, HE IS ALSO A BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD?
• Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the lord hath said unto me
thou art my son this day have I begotten thee.
• THE WORDS BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD IS NOT LITERAL BUT
METAPHORICAL
• The words begotten son of God it can be any one who is love by
God. You will see in much passage in the Bible the word “Son of
God” and “Begotten Son of God” which signifies love and
affection, nearness to God. So, the word son not only applied to
Jesus alone.
13. • Qur’an 2:116 “And they say: Allah has begotten a son. Glory be to Him.
Nay, to Him belong all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all
surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him.
• Qur’an 5:72 “Surely, they have disbelieved who say: Allah is the Messiah
(Christ), son of Mary, but the Messiah (The Christ) said: O Children of
Israel! Worship Allah (alone), My Lord and your Lord. Verily, whosoever
setup partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise
for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Polytheist and wrong-
doers there are no helpers.
14. • PROOF # 3 --- BUT JESUS HAS NO FATHER THAT’S WHY HIS A
SON OF GOD?
• How about Adam? Then not the son of God! He lacked both father
and mother, and he also called son of God in the bible?
• Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Seth,
which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
• AND HOW ABOUT MELCHISEDEC! HE IS MORE UNIQUE THAN
JESUS AND ADAM?
• Hebrew 7:1- 3 Milchisedec, the king of Salem, priest of the highest
God, who meet Abraham..... Without a father, without a mother,
without decent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life:
but made like unto the son of God.
15.
16. • Quran 30:20 Among His Signs is this, that He created
you (Adam) from dust; and then Eve from Adam’s rib,
and then his offspring from the seamen, and) Behold
you are human beings scattered!
• THE SIMILITUDE OF JESUS
• Quran 3:59 “Say the similitude of Jesus before Allah is
that of Adam He created him from dust, then said to
him: be and he was.
17. • The words father or son is a common used by the Jew’s since before, but
generation to generation, when they translate the original text written in
Hebrew and Aramaic the words God translated into Father and the
words Prophet or slaves change to the word Son.
• And because of chauvinism the original words written in the scriptures
they change by their own desire. So mostly of the Christian of today they
misunderstood deeply, they tough that God had a son and that is Jesus.
• JESUS IS THE SON OF MARY NOT THE SON OF GOD
• Quran 5:75 Christ the son of Mary was no more than a Messenger; many
were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a
woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food.
18. • PROOF # 4 --- BUT JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD?
• John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
• We Muslim believed that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and
no one can enter paradise without believe in Jesus but this words not
only applied to Jesus alone?
• So in Islamic point of view every prophet in every generation is the way
to enter paradise not Jesus alone remember Allah sent His messenger
with different generation and time.
• We Muslim love and respect Jesus as one of the mightiest messenger of
Allah in fact no Muslim become a true Muslim if he or she don’t believe
in Jesus .
• So, Muhamad (pbuh) is the last Prophet to be followed and anyone who
follow his sunnah (his teaching and his action) he can enter paradise
because he is the last Prophet who confirmed the true teaching of Jesus
& all the Prophets of Allah.
19. • PROOF # 5 --- BUT JESUS SAY’S BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS I AM?
• John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto
you, Before Abraham was, I am.
• THE CHRISTIAN SAY JESUS’S IS GOD BECAUSE HE WAS
THERE BEFORE ABRAHAM?
• I think you misunderstood only the verse because u
doesn’t read the whole context? In Islamic point of view,
even the last generation to come are already there! But
not in physical form but in the Knowledge of God.
• Look! all of us knew that Jesus came from the womb of
Mary so, you misunderstood only the verse, please read
the whole context so that u will know what Jesus meant
to emphasize in these context.
20. • If we talk a literal meaning in the Bible, I think Solomon is
more unique than Jesus? according to the Bible God created
him (Solomon) before the creation of the earth, while Jesus
the son of Mary was born after Solomon!
• Proverbs 8: 25 Before the mountains were settled, before
the hills was I brought forth?
• Proverbs 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there:
when He set a compass upon the face of the depth:
21. • Proverbs 8:28 When He established the clouds above: when He
strengthened the fountains of the deep:
• Proverbs 8:29 When He gave to the sea his decree, that the waters
should not pass his commandment: when He appointed the
foundations of the earth:
• Proverbs 8:30 Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and
I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him;
• WHY DID U NOT MAKE SOLOMON TO BE GOD?
• HE IS MORE UNIQUE THAN JESUS? So it is clear that all of us are
there, in what form no form but in the Knowledge of God.
• John 5:30 Jesus said: I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I
judge: and my judgment is just: because I sake not mine own will,
but the will of the father which hath sent me.
22. • PROOF # 6 --- BUT JESUS IS GOD IN HUMAN FLESH?
• According by the Christian God came on earth in human flesh and
that is Jesus but their concept of belief is contradicted in the Bible
itself.
• ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE GOD IS NOT A MAN
• Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie: neither the
son of man, that he should repent.
• Hosea 11:9 I am God not a man …..
• AND JESUS SAID: NO ONE CAN SEE GOD
• John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne
witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor
seen his shape.
23. • JESUS SAT ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD
• Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up
into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
• TEACHING OF DOCTRINES IS THE COMMANMENTS OF MEN
• Mathew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.
• AND THE BIBLE SAY’S WE ARE ALL MEN MOST MISERABLE
• 1-Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men
most miserable.
• DO NOT EXCEED THE LIMITS IN YOUR RELIGION
• Quran 4:171 ‘O people of the scripture (The Christians and Jews)! Do not exceed
the limits in your religion, nor say of Allah aught but the truth. The Messiah Isa
(Christ Jesus), son of Mary, was a Messenger of Allah and His Word, “Be!” and he
was which He bestowed on Mary and a spirit created by Him; so believe in Allah
and His Messengers.
24.
