Zac was chosen to play the main male character because he listens to Ja Rule's music and has a similar "thug" style, which will allow him to naturally portray the role. The author was chosen as the main female character because she already has a close relationship with Zac, which will allow their on-screen relationship to seem natural and authentic rather than acted. She was also selected for her confidence, which will help her portray the transition from "good girl" to "bad girl" as depicted in the original music video.

I have chosen Zaccius to be part of the music video as one of the main
characters In the casting I Believe he is the best suited person for this role to
be executed. Zac Fits the role of Ja Rule because he has listened to his music
before hand so he has a more of an understanding of his style and music and
what would suit best, Ja Rule’s style is a ‘thug look’ and mostly wear black in
the picture above Zac is also wearing all black this is his usual style too so it
would be an easy role for him to fit into, Another reason as to why he has the
role is because the other main character is myself and because we are already
close it would portray our relation as real whereas no acting would be needed
so it would come across as natural towards the audience.

3. Female artist
As a group we have chosen myself because the music video is about two
characters who are very close and For this reason because we already have a
very good relationship and would be able to effectively portray this to the
audience therefore it wouldn't look so fake it would be shown to run more
smoothly due to it being natural, The role also consists in being very confident
I believe I have this trait to use and successfully use it because the original
female; Ashanti is seen to have a sassy attitude and seen to being a good girl
and being able to see the transition from this to a bad girl, so this is the
reason we have chosen myself.
