Jamie will play the male lead since he is in the group, will put effort into his performance for his coursework, and has an indie fashion sense and previous experience performing with the author. Charley and Ben will play friends who set the couple up because they are group members who can attend sessions and have the required indie fashion styles and ages.

The proposal is for a music video for the artist Timmy B's song "Ms Fat Booty Freestyle." The purpose is to promote Timmy B as an artist and gain more exposure. Around 10 girls and 1 boy will be needed for talent, along with a camera operator, director, and producer. Locations may change but will be updated. Our music video challenges some conventions of the R&B genre by keeping the artist fully clothed throughout instead of using provocative outfits, and not including a dance routine. However, it conforms to other conventions like having a love story narrative that matches the song, using close-ups of the artist, and editing the video to match the beat of the song. The video also challenges conventions by not depicting the artist as wealthy, unlike many other R&B artists, but still focuses on a relationship rather than material possessions.

Role: Boyfriend Ben Tolhurst Ben will be the boyfriend, who will be dominating the narrative part, He will have shots in the train station where he is waiting for his girlfriend to arrive also will be in the flashback scenes of the couples. The decision behind having him in the music video is mainly because he is the same age range as our target audience, This allows us to effectively represent our target audience in our music video. Also he is in our college which means we will be able to communicate with him easily and have known him for quite long ,so we were sure that he was reliable and also he have been in other music video’s which allows him to have some experience with filming and being in front of the camera. Also his looks and characteristics were very same to our imaginative boyfriend.
- 3. ROLE: GIRLFRIEND Bethany-Rose Griffin Beth will be the girlfriend. She will be in flashback scenes as well as the final part of the music video after the music has been ended, Beth will be getting out of the train to see her boyfriend but all she finds will be a rose left on the floor. We choose Beth firstly because she was very willing to be in our music video and more importantly she has been to many photo shoots and have experience being in front of the camera. Beth is very reliable and also she is in our college which means easy communications.
