Chloe Watret and Erica Hall have chosen themselves for the main roles in their music video. As performing arts students with a strong friendship, they feel they understand the song's message of freedom and can portray carefree facial expressions and reactions authentically. Both 17 years old, their personalities and fashion sense are also a good match for the target teenage audience. Filming themselves avoids scheduling conflicts and allows them to focus fully on capturing the feelings of friendship through their own natural bond.

3. Why have we chosen ourselves?
• For our music video we have decided that we would play ourselves
in the actual performance to the music video.
• We feel that we are both suitable for the performance and can relate
to the song with both our personalities. Myself and Erica have a
strong friendship which means we have this bond once we are
together. We will laugh, cry and just do the random silly acts that
friends do.
• When we listened to this song why believed that we could actually
pull of a carefree, freedom and friendship video. Which is why we
have chosen ourselvesfor the casting.

• For this type of music video and the kind of feelings we are trying to get
across to the audience, you would need at least some over the top facial
reactions and which is some thing myself and Erica have skills with
because of being performing arts students.
• The two actors on screen would need to have a strong connection of
friendship with each other and understand one another to get the actual
message of freedom and free sprits across to the audience. This is
something Erica and myself both belie that we can do easily.
• Because of our good friendship it could connect though the music video
bringing out happiness to the audience. We have never argued once which
shows just ow strong our friendship actually is compared to others.

5. Our personalities
• Myself and Erica tend to have rather big personalities. When
we are together we find it easier to just come out of our shell
(which is also another good message we hope to bring out to
the audience, having the confidence to come out and not be
afraid of who you are)
• We are constantly pulling faces and acting silly when we are
together which means we could bring this enthusiasm and big
personalities to the shooting of the music video. If it shows that
we are having fun on camera then the message will get to the
audience very clearly.

6. The star image
• The star image within the actual music video will be played
by Chloe Watret aka myself. This is because I can play
guitar and it just makes sense. Erica said she wouldn't feel
comfortable having the star image one her which is perfectly
okay by me. Therefore I have taken this role. The star image
will need to be in every shot this is one of the good wins
theory's that we hope to add into our music video.
• Because I play a guitar on a regularly basis it suits the role
we need filling for the main performer.

7. The costumes
• Myself and Erica love fashion. We both work as retail
operatives which mean we have a basic understanding and
a better knowledge as too what children like to wear. Working
in a clothing store in the kids department has really giving em
the opportunity to look around and see what kids actually like
to wear and what catches their eyes.
• I have noticed it tends to be the brightness of the clothes.
Which is perfect because myself and Erica both have bright
clothing which can easily fit the costume choice for our
performance and not making harder for other people to take
the roles and by themselves the clothes.

8. The genre of the music
• The genre of the music is actually something myself and Erica tend to listen
to a lot anyway. We both agreed as soon as we heard the song that we
loved it. Which shows that we will enjoy making the video, hopefully we can
get this to come through in our music video through the use of emotions.
• The song starts acoustic then becomes a gradually Beaty song which can
reflect our personalities and it brings out a positive attitude within ourselves
and the music itself. Which is something myself and Erica can work on when
filming the music video.

9. Age and target audience?
• Erica is 17 and I am 17 which is perfect because its suits the kind of target
audience we would like to aim our music video towards.
• I think the audience will have a connection with the music videos especially
friendship groups, and best friends. There's so sing about friendship that
draws attention from the younger and older generation of teenage girls
which is perfect because this is exactly what we want to do. You don't see
many music videos focusing on the friendship. Which is why myself and
Erica wanted to go down this route because it's different and isn't actually
seen that often in music videos usually its about love or heartbreak.
• The target audience hopefully will be able to place themselves in our shoes
and understand the whole use of summer vibes, freedoms, carefree - these
our the kind of words myself and Erica thought of when we thought of
friendship.

10. In conclusion
• I think myself and Erica have picked the
right people to be casted for the roles in
this music video.
• It's simple because we need a strong
connected friendship bond which we
both have, people that understand each
other and are well comfortably and not
awkward around each other
• Furthermore it makes sense because if
we were getting people out of difference
classes at school it could interfere with
there learning and then there's the cause
of having to take them back to school
and waiting valuable time of filming
