The music video will follow a group of characters through London over four scenes. Scene 1 will introduce the characters walking and talking down the street from behind. Scene 2 will have faster shots of the characters running through the city as the music's pace increases. Scene 3 will feature shots of the characters playing in water fountains in slow motion. Scene 4 will show the characters socializing at night by the river before walking to the train station. The video aims to feel personal through handheld filming and match cuts to compress time, reflecting the characters' attitudes through the fast pace of shots.

3. Scene 1
My music video will begin with a shot of London's skyline for the
introduction, once the singer begins singing there will then be a shot of
my characters feet as they walk down the street. It will then go into a shot
from behind as they walk, talk and laugh. I will also film close ups of the
characters as they sit near tourist attractions.

4. Scene 2
Going into the pre chorus the pace begins to get faster so I will begin to
have a faster pace of changing shots, I will have a mirrored effect in the
edit of one of the characters whipping their hair back and have this
repeated to fit in with the beat. I will also have shots of the characters
running through the city looking at tourist attractions.

5. Scene 3
I will have shots of the characters running through water fountains, picking
each other up and flicking their hair and I will the edit some parts of this into
slow motion to make it fit in with the pace of the music. They will be shown
running down the stairs away from the fountains soaked as they have just
been running through water but care free.

6. Scene 4
Characters sit on steps near the river and socialize with each other through
the night shots from behind and as they drink and watch the sunset, the
goes into a shot of then walking towards the station next to the bird cage

7. Moods and style
The style of filming will be hand held to make the feel of the video be much more personal
This should help the video be relatable for a young adult audience as well as the video itself.
There will be fast changing shots when the music begins to get faster in pace and matching
on action will be used to compress time and fit all of the different shots into one song.
The fast pace of shots will reflect how the characters are feeling and their attitude to life.
I took inspiration from Sam smith’s ‘leave your lover’ as the
characters are being followed throughout the video it gives it a
very personal feel and makes the viewer feel they are getting an
insight into a group of peoples lives
This is the original music video for the song that is in a pop music video style
although I will be doing a remix of the song which is in a much faster pace I
chose to go for a different approach for the music video than the artist as I
believe in this way the viewer can gain new meaning from the lyrics
