A team of students used software like SketchUp, Google Earth, ArcMap and ArcScene to develop 3D models of buildings and terrain at KU from sources including an AutoCAD plan, cadastral survey data and georeferenced Google images. The final 3D model was made interactive by adding functionality for zooming, panning and obtaining information. It was uploaded to a web portal for access by KU visitors, students and other stakeholders.

mobile device across any location, downloadable on Google play store and
deployable anywhere in the world. In this study,Computer-aided design as well as
building Information modelling (CAD/BIM) system applications were introduced to
the simulation of Covenant University, a smart and compact campus whose edifice
elaborates the need for the development of a three dimensional (3D) virtual model of
locations as an advancement over the existing 2D model representation of maps on
the Google map and Google Earth platform. Therefore, this research work outlays the
development of three dimensional models (CU NAViLoc Model) for details of
information at Covenant University as well as the requirements for its development
and implementation for cooperate representation of the institution. A three
dimensional map of CU was packaged into a location navigation system and was
implemented using Unreal Engine, Trimble SketchUp and Revit to effect a user
friendly, smarter and multi-dimensional viewable user interface. CU Naviloc explore
the advantage of the rich benefits of building information models and geographic
information systems to build a free-roam navigator, based on a well-updated model of
Covenant University location map. The benefits of this system is not limited to 3D
capability, real time similarity, portability, no downtime on access, and progressive
scalability with zero or little loss of data. The usage of the CU Naviloc system
requires free download and installation of the app and internet presence.

IRJET- University Campus Event Navigation System IRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed University campus event navigation system developed as an Android application. The application would allow administrators to add, edit, and delete events, and provide event details and locations to users. Users could register for events and receive real-time updates. The application would utilize GPS to display routes to event locations on a map. It aims to better inform students and others about campus events and make it easier to navigate to event venues. The proposed system was designed to address limitations of existing single-college applications that cannot be easily updated with location or other changes.
The document discusses various online tools for visualizing and sharing data on the participatory web. It provides examples of tools for mapping and spatial data visualization, including ProgrammableWeb, GeoCommons, and OpenStreetMap. It also lists tools for numeric data visualization like Graphwise, Numbrary, and Swivel. The document questions whether these types of online data visualization tools are just a temporary phenomenon or have more lasting potential to support academic research and open data initiatives.

“STUDY AND DESIGN OF DIGITAL TRAFFIC MAP USING GOOGLE EARTH FOR SCHOOL BUSES ...IRJET Journal
The document discusses the design of a digital traffic map using Google Earth to improve traffic conditions for school buses near Navle Bridge in Pune, India. Data on bus routes and stops was collected and mapped using Google Earth. This allowed visualization and analysis of high traffic and congested areas. The study found that Navale Bridge experiences the heaviest traffic, while Ambegaon has moderate traffic. Creating the digital map provided a way to locate buses, view passenger and vehicle details, and estimate arrival times according to traffic conditions. The map could help reduce traffic issues and diesel consumption over time.

It discusses the components and sensors of drones, as well as their applications. The document outlines the advantages of drones for quick, low-cost surveying but also notes disadvantages like regulations and limited battery life. It describes the process of field data collection, image processing, and accuracy assessment when using drones for surveying projects. Finally, it provides examples of drone survey projects in Nepal.

The Tourist map of the surrounding area of Shiva statue at SangaUpendra Oli
This document outlines the preparation of a tourist map for the area surrounding the largest Shiva statue in the world located in Sanga, Nepal. A team surveyed the area using a theodolite, tape measure, staff, and GPS to collect data on important locations and infrastructure. The data was then processed, digitized and symbolized to create a map showing the path from the highway to the statue, along with points of interest, to help promote tourism to the area. The final outcomes were a tourist map and report on the project.

Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...IJECEIAES
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.

Electric vehicle and photovoltaic advanced roles in enhancing the financial p...IJECEIAES
Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network

Spatial data acquired from different heterogeneous sources are being input
into a common data base
The use of different data sources
brings along many challenges.
For example, multiple data
formats, various accuracies,
coordinate systems and level of

Kathmandu University being the leading institution of Nepal doesn’t have any
means to disseminate the University map portals among its visitors, students
and other stake holders
The two dimensional master plan without any spatial reference is still serving as
the tool to visualize the spatial position of the University components
So a necessity of three dimensional map was felt which could serve as a tool to
visualize all the features along with the terrain in digital form with the web
access.

TINs are a form of vector-based digital geographic data and are
constructed by triangulating a set of vertices (points).
The vertices are connected with a series of edges to form a
network of triangles following Delaunay triangulation

INTERACTIVE TIN EDIITNG
The resulting triangulation satisfies the Delaunay triangle criterion
No vertex lies within the interior of any of the circumcircles of the
triangles in the network.
If the Delaunay criterion is satisfied everywhere on the TIN, the
minimum interior angle of all triangles is maximized.
The result is that long, thin triangles are avoided as much as possible.

Multisource data integration is often a complex task and involves the series
of coordinate transformation and file formats interpolability issues.
The users of today’s era wants map to be more interactive and user
friendly.
Accurate 3D modeling of the any geographical location first seeks the
quality data with completeness and correctness and also the excellent
working environment .
Establishment of the web server is the effective means of disseminating
the maps among the variety of users .
