Welcome to ARIIA 2021 Excel Guide for Data Setions and Collection This Excel Guide will help in Data Collection as per the Desired Formats for Submission through ARIIA Data Submission Portal (DSP) Weightages Data Sections in DCS *Please note: Institutes need to submit the Data through ARIIA DSP Portal only Non- Technical HEI Technica l HEI https://ariia.gov.in/Login Section 1 (Parameter 1): Developing an Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mind-set through Series of Activities by the HEI: Events/Programs/Activities on IPR, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion and Startup among Students, Faculties and Staff (FY 2019-20): 8 4 i Co-curricular Events/Activities related to Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I & E) conducted by the HEI ii Co-curricular Events/Activities related to I&E organized by external organizations where students/faculty members of HEI were sent to participate/represent. Section 2 (Parameter 2) : Teaching and Learning: Academic Programmes related to Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I & E) & IPR offered by the HEI (AY 2019-20): 10 6 i Academic programmes/courses in Innovation / Entrepreneurship / Intellectual Property offered by the HEI ii I & E & IPR related MDP, EDP, FDP, Employment Generation Skill Development Programs conducted by HEI (Approved by Regulatory bodies of HEIs or other State and Central government agencies ) of minimum 30 contact hours of duration. ii i. Full-time faculty at HEI with educational qualification and (or) trained on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and (or) IPR
  • 2. Setion 3 (Parameter 3) : Dedicated Infrastructure & Facilities Related to Pre-Incubation, Incubation etc exist in campus to Promote Innovation & Entrepreneurship at HEI (FY 2019-20): 13 13 i. Idea/Innovation Centric Student Clubs are Functional at the HEI with Access to Co-working Space/Work-stations for Students with Facilities & Equipment Available to promote and Support Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR Activities in Campus ii . Existence of dedicated infrastructures and facilities at HEI to support Innovation, Entrepreneurship and IPR a. Existance of Pre-Incubation Facility (Tinkering Lab/Makers’ Space/Design Centre/New Gen IEDC/IEDC/EDC/Innovation Cell/Startup Cell) (>= 600 Sq. Ft. Floor Area) b. Existance of Centre of Excellence with Advance Tools & Equipment (>= 1000 Sq. Ft. Floor Area) c. Existance of Incubation Facility (>= 1500 Sq. Ft. Floor Area) d. Existence of Research Park/Innovation Park with minimum Space of >= 5000 sq. ft. Floor area e. Existence of IPR Cell / Patent Facilitation Unit / Technology Transfer Centre at the institute ii i. Empaneled external experts/ agencies for mentorship regarding IPR, innovation development and enterprise development a. Fulltime Faculties at HEI as Mentor to help Ideas/Innovations/Startups b. External Experts/Agencies engaged by HEI as Mentor to help Ideas/Innovations/Startups Section 4 (Parameter 4) : Generation of Innovations/ ideas with the support of HEI and recognition received (FY 2019-20): 13 13 Section 5 (Parameter 5) : Ventures Established with the support of the HEI & Recognitions Received (FY 2019-20): 8 12 Section 6: Awards, Recognitions and Achievements Made by the Innovations and Startups Supported by the HEI (Display of items listed under the section 1, 3.iii, 4 & 5) Section 7 (Parameter 6A & 6B): Collaboration & Investment Facilitations to Promote and Support Innovation & Startups at HEI 11 10
  • 3. i. Credit/Loan/Angel &VC Fund/Investment Mobilzed to Support Innovation & Startups Incubated at HEI (FY 2019-20): (Display of items listed under the section 4 and 5) ii . Collaboration with External Agencies & Co-Creation of I & E initiatives (AY 2019-20): Section 8 (Parameter 7) : Intellectual Property (IP), Generation and Commercialization (FY 2019-20): 14 19 i. Research papers published (Student/Faculty) with Keywords -Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Scopus journals during the AY 2019-20. (will be captured from 3rd party sources) ii .
