Choices & Flexibility Next year may be offering you a new and exciting choice on how you can learn at MSS. The Mentored Self-Paced Learning (MSL) program will give you the flexibility and the choices of how, when and where you learn.
Self-Pacing Choices You are able to accelerate through material you understand well You are able to spend more time on material that may be challenging You negotiate timelines with your teachers You can carry over an unfinished course into the next semester We believe that everyone learns at different rates and therefore completes work at different times.  Self-Pacing recognizes that you are unique:
Flexibility in Program Collaborate with your Teacher Advisor to direct your learning Negotiate with classroom teachers timelines and project dates Make decisions that affects your  progress through course objectives, including:  Where to work With whom to work When to write a test How long to take before moving on  Personalized programming presents students with choices on how they approach learning activities.  This allows you to customize your learning experience and harness your unique skill sets. You will learn to:
