bsg 27
Future aspects
• OTT (Over The Top) may dominate Film Industry in near future
• There will be a upcoming trend in increasing release of movies in OTT
platform or
• OTT provide better opportunities for non-Commercial and Low budget films
• Even after removing the barriers of lockdown
• Even after the Covid Impact in India
• But OTT can`t be a revenue platform for buying a Rs 200 crore or more
budget film
ho!cho! bsg 28
Conclusion
• The COVID-19 pandemic has had a substantial impact on the film industry &
mirroring its impacts across all the sectors
• But still people are spending more time streaming through the OTT platforms
• Movies and OTT platforms become savior of many people who were alone or
having a hard time in this pandemic situation.
• People who lost their job due to the covid are slowly and steadily going back to
there jobs
• And we can believe that the movie theaters going to come back more
strongly.
