The camera pansfrom the childas youcan see inthe screenshotbelowto thenshowingthe teacheratthe front.Thiscamera movementmayof purposelybeenchosentoshow how the kidacts towardsthe teacher. The openingscene of the filmissetina class roomand mise enscene has beenusedtoseparate the pupilsfromthe students,forexample the studentsare wearingatypical school uniformwhere asthe teacheris wearingdifferentclothestoeveryoneelsewhichinthisscenarioisa formal jumperandblacktrousers.Alsoitsclearto the audience thatitis setin a school because of the layoutof the classroomwiththe chairs underthe desksandthe whiteboardatthe frontof the room. Dialogue betweenthe manandthe boyalsoshowthe audience that the boy isincontrol for example the mansays “Please….please,don’tshootme”.Thisshowsthatthe manis beggingforhislife andisout of control. Thisis the final image thatI am goingto include andthisisa longshotand showsthat there isno real romance here andit is more justfriendship.Igetthisimpressiondue tothe body language of the womenwithherhavingherhandon his shoulderwhere asif theywere reallyinlovewitheachother theywouldbe holdinghands.There isnocameramovementin thisscene howeverthere issome editingasthe creditsare includedatthe end.There isalsosome soundinthisscene whichisnon diegeticanditisa soundtrack.The lyricssay “ whenlove goesdownthe drain”whichIfeel isa goodway to summarize the shortfilmasit showsthatthe so calledmanthe teacherwasin love withdidnotworkout as expected.
