this review is short and sweet. I believe it relied more on a star system to represent the film. I chose this as it focuses on a different audience who are not looking for a long read and just want to know if the film is good or bad. this short also focuses on the mind and by its description its very dramatic focusing on one character.
1. A greatshort film,simplebuteversoeffective withagoodpunchline.

Language and register
The overall textisveryshortand sweetnotwastinganytime gettingtothe point.
- “A great shortfilm,simple buteversoeffective withagoodpunchline”
That is the whole writtenreview, verypositive andverytothe pointthroughthe use of a
declarative.
- “A man (RichardKind) tries tokill himself inamotel roombuta noisyneighbourbreaks
hisfocus.”
Once again a use of a declarative statementtogetstraighttothe pointandgive the
readera brief introductionthe shortsplot.
Use of mediaterminologyinthe ratingsection (jargon).
- E.g. “storyline”“cinematography”
Use of mediaterminologycreatesaverytrustworthynature tothe site.Thiswill make

Thisdoesnot use a lot of language thatrelatestothe filmsgenre andtherefore Idon’tbelieve this

be aimedat people notlookingforalongreview andjustwantto know if it’sgoodor bad.
