- 2. The Importance of a Title Sequence • Title sequences are a section at the beginning of a film or TV program, they help entice the viewer, their may purpose is to get across the title of the film, the main actors and the main people involved behind the scene. • Title sequences are immensely important in the world of TV and film because they allow you to introduce the team behind the production of a certain film or program, title sequences also allow you to notify the viewer what the film may be about and ease the viewer into the film.
- 3. Motion Graphics • The purpose of motion Graphics is add a new dimension to the title sequence. • Motion graphics go along with the title sequence and the music, they are used to enhance and give more identity to the sequence itself. • Title sequences also help to everything in check as far the tempo of the music and when the music is played; as both elements have to coexist with each other in order for the sequence to be exactly how it is meant to be.
- 4. Avengers – Opening Credits • The opening of The Avengers is very well done and it is important because it introduces every notable crew member that has worked on the film and been involved in its production as well as giving snippets of the story in the opening credits as a result of the motion graphics used. • The opening credits do indeed match the hype of the film and how the rest of it plays out.
- 5. Spiderman 2 – Opening Credits • The credits at the beginning of Spiderman 2, are very effective as the constant cross-fades and transitions help foreshadow the suspense and tension of the film; It also leaves you glued to your seat straight from the off and leaves you expecting something truly epic; • this means that the sequence fulfils its purpose fully.
- 6. Pink Panther (1963) – Opening Credits • Pink Panther has very effective opening credits, I think this because I found the credits very interesting and the fact that they arrange the main character to be introduced in the opening credits and then for that character to put together the title of the film. • I think that this gives the film a very positive vibe and foreshadows the atmosphere of the film.
