This document discusses the various roles involved in filmmaking and producing a trailer. It describes the director as controlling the artistic and dramatic aspects of the film and guiding the cast and crew. It states that the roles of director, producer, cinematographer, costume designer, and editor will be undertaken collaboratively by the group. The cinematographer is responsible for camera and lighting decisions. Costume and makeup are important for portraying characters. The editor's role includes using techniques to create the pace and atmosphere of the trailer through post-production editing.

2.  This includes the research sections when
looking into what we wanted our genre to
be. This also is the part in which most our
ideas are from and where we first had a
chance to get a feel of the creation of
trailers.

3.  A film director is a person who directs the making
of a film. Generally, a film director controls a film's
artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes the
script while guiding the technical crew and
actors in the fulfilment of that vision. The director
has a key role in choosing the cast members,
production design, and the creative aspects of
filmmaking. This role will be undertaken by all
members of the group so we make the final
decisions about everything together.

5.  The cast should be people we select
that we thing best brings the characters
we have created to life. These people
will be of the same age group so around
16-18 so we can use people from our
actual target audience.

7.  This role includes the
writing of the actual
script and the basic
dialogue of what the
cast members will read
when filming. It will also
include all the actions
the characters will have
to do along with how
they should act whether
it be scared or happy.

8.  Film producers fill a variety of roles
depending upon the type of producer.
Either employed by a production company
or independent, producers plan and
coordinate various aspects of film
production, such as selecting script,
coordinating writing, directing and editing,
and arranging financing. This will be more
of team effort so we will work together with
our group members to make important
decisions such as the scrip selecting.

10.  The cinematographer or director of photography
(DP) is the person in charge of actually shooting the
film. They are the head of the camera and lighting
departments. The cinematographer selects the
camera, film stock, lens, filters, etc. This person would
make vital decisions such as the location and the
type of lighting that we use. This is obviously very
important as the lighting and location can create the
general atmosphere for the film as well as the tone.
This will be made easier from the research we have
done about teen thrillers as we will be able to know
they types of shots and locations we can use
because of the other teen thrillers we have
researched.

12.  fashion stylist is the job title of
someone who selects the
clothing for people within a
movie to put together a
particular look or theme for
the specific project. This
person is also very important
as the way a character
dresses as well as their makeup
choices say a lot about the
character and generally what
type of person they are. Make
up for a character is also
important if for example you
wanted to portray that the
character was hurt or
something.

13.  Post production is basically
editing and the last minute
touches for the trailer to work
successfully. This role includes
the actual editing process
which is of great importance
as a lot of editing techniques
can be used to create the
pace of the trailer as well as
the atmosphere used as well.
