FOLKUNIVERSITETET HAS PARTICIPATED IN 8TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS
“GLOBAL EDUCATION WITHOUT LIMITS” (GE-2014) ON 25TH-26TH OF NOVEMBER
IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA
Folkuniversitetet has participated in 8th international congress “Global Education
without limits” (GE-2014) on 25th-26th of November in Moscow, Russia. Among the
speakers there were Minister of education in Russia, representatives of State Duma,
Federation Council of Russia, and European Training Foundation.
Mr. Ali Rashidi, the director of the Department for
International cooperation of Uppsala
Folkuniversitetet, was one of the speakers during the
first day of the conference. His speech was dedicated
to VET-system in Sweden on example of his past
collaboration projects in different cities of Russia.
“It was truly happy I was able to attend this congress. The event
has been a great platform for exchange of experience, as well as
for networking”, - says Ali Rashidi, the director of the
Department for International Cooperation of Folkuniversitetet,
Uppsala.
Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala has successfully initiated and completed more than 30
different European- and government-funded projects in vocational and adult education,
integration policy and empowerment. It has also participated in more than 20 of such
projects as a transnational partner.
