‘QinVET’ 3RD TRANSNATIONAL MEETING WAS HELD ON THE 1st – 2nd OF DECEMBER 2013 IN
ISTANBUL, TURKEY
‘QinVET’ 3rd transnational meeting was held on the 1st – 2nd of December 2013 in Istanbul,
Turkey.The main focus of the meeting was on the discussion of focus groups (Work Package 3).
The goal of the project is to develop a set of guidelines which enable and support the leadership in a
VET-provider organisation to motivate and engage teaching staff in quality assurance initiatives.At
the meeting the partnership discussed the progress on the first 3 work packages of the project, as
well as the agenda for creating the actual guidelines (Work Package 4).
The first dayconsisted entirely of the reports on focus groups and
discussion of the results.The partners from Belarus, Italy,
Netherlands,
Russia,
Sweden,
and
Turkey
made
their
th
presentations. The 2 of December was dedicated primarily to
the dissemination and financial matters.
“This meeting was a proof that everything is going the way we planned. I’m endlessly grateful to the
partners for the job they have done. Yet we are in the very middle of the project, which means that
we still have a long way to go”, - says Ali Rashidi, the director of Department for International
Cooperation of Folkuniversitetet.
Expanding the quality ‘spirit’ of VET (QinVET) is a Leonardo da Vinci network project, launched on the
1st of November 2012. It aims to develop guidelines with for VET-leadership which enable them
engaging and motivating teaching staff regarding quality initiatives 4 different cycle (planning,
implementation, evaluation and review). The product of the project will be a set of printed and
electronic guidelines manual in 6 languages.
