As the style of music is pop, she wanted the cover to look bright, eye-catching, modern and stylish. The fashion and styling gives her an idea of what she wants the person on the magazine cover to look like and she will do further research. She included an image of an existing pop music magazine as inspiration for the overall look of her own magazine cover.
2. Mood board
The mood board I have created features photos and images of
outfits and celebrities that fit in with my chosen genre of
magazine. The colour pallet that my mood board has created
features a variety of different colours which will help me make
the final decision on my chosen colour scheme. As the style of
music is pop I wanted the cover to look bright and eye-catching
yet modern and stylish. The fashion and styling gives me an idea
of what I would want the person on my magazine cover to look
like, I will carry out further research in this area. I have included
an image of an existing pop music magazine (Q) as I like the
overall look of cover and I will use it as inspiration for my own
magazine.
