This document provides information on the Viticulture and Enology Certificate Program offered by PVCC Workforce Services. The Viticulture Certificate requires completion of 10 courses focused on vineyard site selection, soil preparation, pruning, pest control, canopy management, harvesting, grafting/propagation, and field experience in vineyard management. The Enology Certificate also requires 10 courses, including introduction to winemaking, analysis and tasting, winery design, legal issues, marketing, fermentation, harvesting, and sparkling winemaking. Both certificates provide hands-on learning opportunities through field experience and equipment use.
