Monikandan.B Mobile: +965 –65065416 E – Mail: monikandanqaqc@gmail.com Responsibilities include - -Preparation of Job Procedures and Test Procedures, Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans etc. as per the requirements of respective Project Specifications, get approval by the Client and implementation of the same. Review contract documents to ensure identification and comprehension of quality requirements. -Preparation of Welding Procedures, Welding Procedure Qualification & Welder Performance Qualification- Witness the Qualification of the Welding Procedure, Welder Qualification Test, Witness the Mechanical Test for the WPS, Preparation of PQR, Witness Fillet break test for welder performance qualification & Documentation. -Material Inspection - Inspection for raw materials including structural steel profiles, pipes, paints, electrodes /filler wires etc. As per applicable POs and Technical Delivery Conditions. To check the identification marks/heat nos and correlation with Test Certificates, Dimensional Inspection etc. and documents the same. Handling Non confirmation reports (NCR) of discrepant material / MTC’s. -Fabrication Inspection - Co-ordinate with Supervisors / Inspectors for stage wise/ In- process Inspection of fabrication activities, Fit-up, Weld Visual Inspection, NDT etc., Ensure Identification and traceability of items through all stages and Release of material for Painting/Galvanizing. Ensure electrode baking, storage and issuance is in accordance with quality control procedure. Plane and supervise subcontractor’s inspection activities and review subcontractor quality performance -Interpretation of NDT:-Offering joints for PT, VT, MT, RT & UT, Conduct tests and Interpretation of test results as per applicable Codes or Project Specifications and report preparation. -Pressure Tests:- Preparing punch list by line checking after complete erection prior to hydro test , Preparing hydro test and tie-in packages , witness the hydro test, pneumatic test and vacuum tests and documentation of the same . Surface Preparation and Painting / Coating Inspection: - Surface profile inspection of blasted items, Inspection of Painted or Galvanized surfaces as per approved procedures and applicable specifications. Final Acceptance & Release: - Final Inspection of the finished items, co-ordination with Client/TPI for inspection and issue of Inspection Release Notes. Control and monitoring of all measuring instruments or gauges and their calibration, Control of welding consumables.

Conduct 5S Training and internal audit on the shop floors. Statistical Quality Analysis & Use of QC tools – Identifies and reports quality issues or trends in the assigned area or product based on data from a variety of sources. Review of QA/QC weekly logs. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and recurring quality issues, recommend and verify implementation of appropriate corrective action for quality issues in coordination with project management, engineering, purchasing, construction management and others. Conduct welding toolbox meeting on weekly basis to give quality awareness with the welders and discuss preventive measures. Attend weekly meetings with project managers, consultants, sub-contractors and resolve technical queries. Providing leadership and guidance to project staff, subcontractors and Quality Control Inspectors. Assist development & implementation training programs. Knowledge in Codes familiar with the Construction Codes such as AWS D1.1 , AWS D9.1, AWS D1.3, ASME Section-II, Section-V, Section VIII, Section-IX & API-1104.
