1. The Search for the Most Outstanding Elementary Pupil of Caloocan 2014

1. All bonafide public and private elementary students of the Caloocan City are qualified to join the contest.
2. The contestant should be currently enrolled as a Grade Six pupil in a public or private schools in Caloocan City.
3. The contestant should be officially endorsed to the contest organizers on or before the contest proper.
4. The school should submit the duly accomplished Entry Form on or before October 11, 2014
5. A school is entitled to send only one contestant.
6. There will be an elimination round on October 13, 2014 to determine the 10 finalists. The contestants shall answer a written test on the five subject areas: Mathematics, Science and Technology, English, Filipino and History, Culture and the Arts. There are fifteen (15) questions for each subject area. The students are given one hour to answer the test.
7. The result of the test shall be announced immediately after the result of the test is ready.
8. The top ten scorers in the elimination round will qualify in the final round on October 20, 2014. This is divided into three portions: Quiz, Talent and Interview.
9. For the quiz portion, the students shall be tested in Mathematics, Science and Technology, English, Filipino and History, Culture and the Arts. Seven questions shall be given in each subject area. The contestants are given five seconds to answer in Science and Technology, English, Filipino and History, Culture and the Arts. Fifteen seconds shall be given for the Mathematics.
10. For the talent portion, the contestant will be given five minutes to show their talents (e.g. singing, dancing, acting, etc.)
11. For the interview portion, the contestant shall be asked by the board of judges.
12. The ranking in the quiz portion is determined through the scores in the five subject areas. The ranking in the talent portion and the interview shall be based on the following criteria:

Audience Impact 20%

Interview:
Content 50%
Communication Skills 30%
Poise and Confidence 20%
TOTAL 100%
13. The students will be ranked in each portion which has the corresponding weight:
QUIZ 50%
TALENT 25%
INTERVIEW 25%
TOTAL 100%
14. Students who ranked 1st in the different portions are declared as Most Intelligent Student (Quiz), Most Talented Student (Talent) and Most Eloquent Student (Interview).
15. The rankings shall be added and the top three students in the ranking shall be awarded as the Champion, 1st runner- up and respectively. In case of tie, clincher questions shall be asked to determine the winner.
16. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
17. All finalists will have an automatic admittance to CCSHS.
18. The winner will receive certificate of recognition.
