Congratulations! You made it to the last week of the course. You.docxmargaretr5
Congratulations! You made it to the last week of the course. Your hard work will pay off as you synthesize the work you have done throughout the course into the Signature Assignment. This final assignment is a plan for an instructional or training solution based on the scenario on which you have been working for the entire course.
Remember that this introductory course has not offered everything you could possibly need to know about the broad field of instructional design. You explored some aspects of the field and the processes common to the field. Some aspects of the field were just introduced for further review in another course; other aspects of the field have not even been touched. This is an overview course, and you engaged in just that - an overview.
Thus, it is appropriate that the Signature Assignment for an overview course is, well, an overview; and that is just what a plan is - an overview. You will offer a plan for an instructional or training solution without necessarily presenting all of the details about each component of that solution. Your plan should include the following components:
Scenario (Week 2)
Learning Needs Assessment (Week 2)
Learner Analysis (Week 3)
Learning Context Analysis (Week 3)
Performance Context Analysis (Week 3)
Task Analysis (Week 4)
Learning Goal (Week 5)
Learning Outcome(s) (Week 5)
Learning Objectives (Week 5)
Learner Assessment (Week 6)
Learning Activity (Week 7)
Evidence of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (Week 8)
Use a heading for each of the requirements listed above. You can learn more about using headings by viewing the Heading Levels Quick Guide (APA, n.d.) in Academic Writer, a link to which is available in this week's resources.
This assignment will be reviewed using the Signature Assignment Rubric available in the Dropbox. Note that integrating feedback is a scored item on this rubric. Be sure to integrate feedback from previous assignments, asking any questions you have early in the week so that you receive a response in sufficient time for you to use the guidance.
Congratulations again on completing the course!
Length: 12-15 pages, excluding title and reference pages
References: Include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources.
The completed assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. The content should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards and should adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.

PJM6125 Project Evaluation:
Stakeholder Analysis & Evaluation Goal Matrix
Overview and Rationale
For this assignment, you will establish some evaluation goals for your project based on the
method and lens covered in this week’s lecture.
Program and Course Outcomes
This assignment is directly linked to the following key learning outcomes from the course
syllabus:
LO1: Identify and analyze stakeholders associated with performance evaluation.
LO2: Design an evaluation goals matrix incorporating the differences between impact, efficiency,
and effectiveness
LO6: Compare change management procedures needed to respond to the results of both tactical
and non-tactical performance evaluation
L07: Plan and conduct a tactical evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative measures
Essential Components & Instructions
This assignment is completed in two parts. First, using your chosen project that you
submitted as part of Lesson 1, complete the following items:
Stakeholder Register / Analysis:
Create a stakeholder register / analysis that includes the following minimum
columns:
o Stakeholder
o Stakeholder Position / Role
o Type of Stakeholder (internal or external)
o Stakeholder expectation (high level needs or expectations of project)
o Stakeholder interest (high / medium / low)
o Stakeholder influence level (high / medium / low)
o Stakeholder view of project (supportive / neutral / opposed)
o Stakeholder Management strategy (approach to engaging stakeholder to
support success of project)
Once you create the register, create entries for a minimum of 12 - 15 project
stakeholders, performing a full analysis for each of them.
Part 2: Evaluation Goals Matrix:
After completing the stakeholder register, you will create an evaluation goals matrix, as
illustrated in Lesson 2, with an additional column entitled stakeholder. Once you have
designed the evaluation goal matrix, you will need to list at least four evaluation goals for
each category: efficiency, effectiveness, and impact, which will result in a total of 12 metrics
/ goals.
You will be assess on the clarity of the metrics, the concreteness of the measures (Example:
increased performance by 12 percent (concrete) vs. increase performance (not concrete, as
no specific measurement of increase)), and how well the metric will measure the success of
project relative to the overview of the project you provided as a case study.
Format
Below are some key guidelines you will want to ensure you follow in all three elements of
this assignment. Think of this short list as a quality control checklist, along with the
attached grading rubric.
Part 1 and Part 2 (stakeholder analysis and evaluation matrix) should be submitted
as a single file (MsWord or .pdf)
You should include a cover page
You should include a brief summary of your chosen project.
You should format the documents professionally
The tables should be readable.

The growing complexity of business transactions and greater regulatory scrutiny have significantly
increased the demands on corporate reporting. Corporate boards face a tremendous challenge
where they need to clearly communicate key information to various stakeholders whilst ensuring
efficient use of firm resources.
A recently released KMPG (2015) report* revealed that organizations have increasingly de-
cluttered their financial reports in response to reducing complexity in corporate reporting. This
report noted that a few organizations have started using graphs in presenting their financial
information to enhance clarity in communication.

For example, if, as the CIO, you are contemplating moving applications to a cloud solution, your budget needs to reflect that process. If you are implementing or expanding VMWare as a virtualization solution, your budget needs to reflect those purchases.
The actual numbers can be approximate. A little research can point you in the right direction. For example, desktops run about $200-$300. You can use approximate figures for items such as licenses, maintenance agreements, servers, etc. Just make sure you have some justification (i.e., references) for the numbers you use.
Part 2: Executive Summary
Your executive summary needs to explain your budget. Possible headings include:
I. Predictable Annual Expenditures
Simply put, fixed operational expenditures keep the lights on. They are mainly hardware and software maintenance items, licensing, etc. These are expected costs of doing IT business. If, however, you are purchasing more hardware or software that will require additional annual maintenance and license agreements, you’ll need to defend those purchases and the annual expenditures that will remain for the company.
II. New Purchases
Any new purchases you recommend need to be justified. Why are you purchasing them? What benefit do you expect from the purchases? You’ll need to justify the purchases relative to the previous week’s assignments—Reynolds’ business situation and goals. For example, how will a new investment in hardware, software, or services achieve a competitive advantage for the company? What do you think the company needs to purchase to achieve its expansion goals? How much will outsourcing cost?
III. Special Projects and Long-term Strategic IT Investments
As CIO, you need to look at technologies in the context of long-range strategic planning. Think of this section as your wish list. The investments in this category may not help the organization achieve its short-range goals, but they’re considered a long-term investment in innovation to remain competitive. For example, a manufacturing facility may consider a ...

Most women experience their closest friendships with those of th.docxroushhsiu
Most women experience their closest friendships with those of the same sex. Men have suffered more of a stigma in terms of sharing deep bonds with other men. Open affection and connection is not actively encouraged among men. Recent changes in society might impact this, especially with the advent of the meterosexual male. “The meterosexual male is less interested in blood lines, traditions, family, class, gender, than in choosing who they want to be and who they want to be with” (Vernon, 2010, p. 204).
In this week’s reading material, the following philosophers discuss their views on this topic: Simone de Beauvoir, Thomas Aquinas, MacIntyre, Friedman, Hunt, and Foucault. Make sure to incorporate their views as you answer each discussion question. Think about how their views may be similar or different from your own. In at least 250 words total, please answer each of the following, drawing upon your reading materials and your personal insight:
To what extent do you think women still have a better opportunity to forge deeper friendships than men? What needs to change to level the friendship playing field for men, if anything?
How is the role of the meterosexual man helping to forge a new pathway for male friendships?

BACKGROUND: Issue to be investigated: Graph use in financial reports
The growing complexity of business transactions and greater regulatory scrutiny have significantly
increased the demands on corporate reporting. Corporate boards face a tremendous challenge
where they need to clearly communicate key information to various stakeholders whilst ensuring
efficient use of firm resources.
A recently released KMPG (2015) report* revealed that organizations have increasingly de-
cluttered their financial reports in response to reducing complexity in corporate reporting. This
report noted that a few organizations have started using graphs in presenting their financial
information to enhance clarity in communication.
* KPMG. (2015). A new era in corporate reporting: Review of recent corporate reporting and de-
cluttering trends in the ASX 200. KPMG: Australia, September.
QUESTION: Specific requirements and guidelines:

financial information, and write an essay to critically evaluate the use of graphs in financial
reports with reference to the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting. Support
your position and discussion with reference to academic journal articles.

Week 4 Assignment Instructions
CMGT/578 v12
Page 2 of 3IT Budget
This is a two-part assignment. For this assignment, you are the Chief Information Officer, or CIO, of Reynolds Tool & Die. To complete this assignment, you will:
1. Create a Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet proposing the Reynolds Tool & Die company’s IT operations’ annual budget, including maintenance, licensing, and any proposed new investments, such as hardware, software, cloud services, and/or outsourcing.
2. Create a 1- to 2-page executive summary defending your budget choices in terms of innovation and efficiency.
Part 1: Spreadsheet
The example spreadsheet that begins on page 2 is a rough suggestion of an annual, itemized budget. You will create your budget in Microsoft Excel. Your budget headings may vary, but your budget needs to be as specific as possible. Within each category, you should include purchases for the IT strategic plan.

Moral rights as opposed to legal rights are not dependent on a polit.docxroushhsiu
Moral rights as opposed to legal rights are not dependent on a political system for their legitimacy. This is the category of rights that all human air--breathers, as opposed to non-human air-breathers--- should be afforded to them by virtue of their having intrinsic value and not only instrumental value. These rights, or entitlements, are supported by various ethical theories when for instance the Universalism thesis under Utilitarianism requires that all persons' (women's and men's) interests be considered in the calculations of Hedonistic options available. Kantianism insists that all Unverbalizable maxims be respectful of the rights of all persons to be treated with dignity and respect--which includes freedom of choice. Virtue ethics, more modernly, does not distinguish basic "good " character traits of excellence such as integrity, good judgment, role identity--not as a woman or a man in any given role but, the ability to fulfill the duties of that role within a community by a member of either sex---, holism--the ability to habitually practice the other virtues in an integrative manner while recognizing the importance of other persons to the community and vise versa. The various Justice theories do not relegate justice based on sex, just on relevant differences based on ability, endeavor, contribution, etc.
Do current generatons ( including current businesses) owe a duty to future generations to produce products and conduct business in an environmentally sustainable manner so that future generations are assured of inheriting a livable planet( one on which reasonable persons would want to live); even if it means that current generations must sacrifice many preferences in current lifestyles? Why or why not?

Research Summary
Firms seeking to avoid reputational spillovers that can arise from dangerous, illegal, and
unethical behavior at supply chain factories are increasingly relying on private social auditors to
provide strategic information about suppliers’ conduct. But little is known about what influences
auditors’ ability to identify and report problems. Our analysis of nearly 17,000 supplier audits
reveals that auditors report fewer violations when individual auditors have audited the factory
before, when audit teams are less experienced or less trained, when audit teams are all-male, and
when audits are paid for by the audited supplier. This first comprehensive and systematic
analysis of supply chain monitoring identifies previously overlooked transaction costs and
suggests strategies to develop governance structures to mitigate reputational risks by reducing
information asymmetries in supply chains.
Managerial Summary
Firms reliant on supply chains to manufacture their goods risk reputational harm if the working
conditions in those factories are revealed to be dangerous, illegal, or otherwise problematic.
While firms are increasingly relying on private-sector ‘social auditors’ to assess factory
conditions, little has been known about the accuracy of those assessments. We analyzed nearly
17,000 code-of-conduct audits conducted at nearly 6,000 suppliers around the world. We found
that audits yield fewer violations when the audit team has been at that particular supplier before,
when audit teams are less experienced or less trained, when audit teams are all-male, and when
the audits were paid for by the supplier instead of by the buyer. We describe implications for
firms relying on social auditors and for auditing firms.

Defining the Terms: RelativismMoral relativism: morality is purely culturalMoral differences & disagreements are irreconcilableFor example, Inuit Eskimos practice infanticide: one woman had borne 20 children but killed 10 at birth.Eskimos also practice euthanasia: when the elderly become too feeble to travel, they’re left to freeze.Hence, there’s no one universal moral truth for all times, places, peoples and culturesThe only possible good is toleration & mutual respect of pluralistic values

James Rachels, “The Challenge of Cultural Relativism” (Fifty Readings, 2nd Ed.), 397.
Defining the Terms: AbsolutismMoral absolutism: there are clear moral truths to govern all ethical issues regardless of situation.Immoral to accept the justifiability of two conflicting positions on any given ethical issueFor example: with this position, it would be unacceptable for Bush (pro-life) to say Eskimo infanticide practices are understandable and permissible among EskimosOr if polygamy or underage marriage is wrong, it is wrong everywhere and at all times. But what is “underage marriage”?
Moral Absolutism and Human KnowledgeName some fields of human knowledge where we deal with facts and have made great progress.Scientific theory must deal with hard dataNo science that claims absolute knowledge;Fallibility is the hallmark of scienceBut fallibility does not mean all theories are equal. Why should ethics be any different? If moral truths are not absolute, why should that prove that all moral values are equal? We can measure progress in science but what about ethics?
Illogic of Extreme Moral RelativismIn extreme relativism, no one can rightly pass judgment on others’ values/social practicesConsider Afghan Taliban Culture & Values:Ban on women's work outside the homeBan on women's presence in radio or televisionBan on women at schools or universitiesEthic of absolute relativism is self-contradictory:If I pass judgment on others for passing any judgment, am I not passing judgment on others?
Relativism with Norms Normative relativism: while cultural values clearly differ, nevertheless there are some general purposes shared by all moral codes.A socially accepted way of regulating conflicts of interests in society to preserve that people and culture with rules shaped by situations to that end. A socially accepted way of regulating conflicts of interests within an individual that can’t be equally satisfied a.

International law is in a period of transition. After World War
II, but especially since the 1980s, human rights expanded to
almost every corner of international law. In doing so, they
changed core features of international law itself, including
the definition of sovereignty and the sources of international
legal rules. But what has been called the "age of human
rights" is over, at leastfor now. Whether measured in terms of
the increasing number of authoritarian governments, the
decline in international human rights enforcement
architecture such as the Responsibility to Protect and the
Alien Tort Statute, the growing power of China and Russia
over the content of international law, or the rising of
nationalism and populism, international human rights law is
in retreat. The decline offers an opportunity to consider how
human rights changed, or purported to change, international
law and how international law as a whole can be made more
effective in a post-human rights era. This Article is the first to
argue that international human rights law as a whole-
whatever its much disputed benefits for human rights
themselves-appears to have expanded and changed
international law in ways that have made it weaker, less likely
to generate compliance, and more likely to produce
interstate friction and conflict. The debate around
international law and human rights should be reframed to
consider these costs and to evaluate whether international
law, including the work of the United Nations, should focus
on a stronger, more limited core of international legal norms
that protects international peace and security, not human
rights. Human rights could be advanced through domestic
and regional legal systems, through the the development of
non-binding international norms, and through iterative
processes of international reporting and monitoring-a model
not unlike the Paris Climate Agreement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

Discussion 1:
Honeypots cost about a hundred times as much as a real security
system. The biggest problem with honeypots, aside from the
cost, is the lack of familiarity with them. For one thing, since
each honeypot can be fixed to a specific administrative IP
address, the attacker does not need to change his IP address in
order to gain access to the honeypots. The honeypots are more
useful because they enable compliance with AS/NZS/IEC and
earlier (Grimes, 2006). They provide human-scanned logs of
actions and are harder to use to make brute-force password
attempts. Furthermore, the honeypots are usually designed so
that the administrator is not concerned about the attacker
14. obtaining one of the honeypots and using it to compromise the
host system. The honeypot then provides a constant, available,
and controllable attack surface. Traceability, even though
cannot trace everyone that are still able to do it differently.
Maintainability, an organization can always put in a new
security program and replace all the old programs since the new
one will also be it is a patch for the time being. Functionality, it
just made a few changes to test all programs to have a look in
detail at the things which could be misused (Grimes, 2006).
The concept for honeypot uses only comes into being when one
considers how to acquire valuable intelligence on an
organization best, in most cases collecting data that is by no
means the most sensitive. The real problem is that these
honeypots do not help in the fight against terrorism. This would
have been true if the intelligence services had destroyed all the
possible sources of intelligence. However, they did not, they
took off all the traps they had prepared for themselves and put
them on people who are not terrorists and who are identified as
innocent citizens. In other words, the intelligence agencies get
an easy win. If the intelligence services are happy that the
police are searching the Internet to find out how terrorist
organizations do their recruiting and propaganda, well, they are
just getting more and more intimate with the Internet and its
filtering systems (Sharma & Kaul, 2018)

Honeypot - Advantages & Disadvantages
COLLAPSE
Top of Form
The fundamental objective of Honeypot is to divert the
assassin from genuine frameworks in order to extract
critical data and information about them with the devices and
endeavors they use. The constant to and fro traffic of a
honeypot is dubious and unapproved as a result of the way that
no creation administrations are given by this asset. All the
valuable information gathered by a honeypot is intriguing and
it never builds large backlogs. It can additionally be utilized for
avoidance of assaults and can suspend aggressors from
other frameworks by possessing their assets for long span. The
data gathering for an assault relies upon the degree of following
empowered on the honeypot (Lance Spitzner, 2003).
Advantages:
- Honeypots can capture assaults and provide the required
information and data about the assault type as per
requirements.
- It helps in extracting and identifying any potential assaults
that may occur.
- It supports on focusing on the limited malignant traffic
which helps in speeding up the research of the investigation and
lays out a simpler path to achieve results in no time.
- It is very cost effective as any PC can be adapted to be a
honeypot framework. (Lance Spitzner, 2003)
Disadvantages:
- possibility of extracting information and data of the assassin
is limited to the time frame of the attack in process.
16. - It is limited to identifying one attack at a time.
- fingerprinting process is disservice of honeypots. It is easy
for an accomplished programmer to comprehend on the off
chance that he is assaulting a honeypot framework or a genuine
framework.
- The honeypot might be utilized as a zombie to arrive at
different frameworks and bargain them (Lance Spitzner, 2003).

Chapter One
Why do we have budgeting in the Public Sector? Why not just
tax and then spend what is received in taxes where the
government wants to spend it? Some may say this is how it
works, but this is not our goal as responsible stewards of the
public’s money. As good public safety administrators we have a
duty to be accountable and efficient with the dollars entrusted
to us. We are accountable in that we have a duty to demonstrate
that we are coming up with the right answers through the right
means. We are efficient in that we are able to do more with the
same amount of money as someone else, or do the same with
less money than someone else. Efficient does not mean doing
more with less in the context of public safety administration.
So, to be accountable and efficient agency budgets are prepared
each year to justify the monies needed for it successful
operation over the ensuing fiscal year.
