2. In Nepal,85 % of total population are depended on
open fire for both heating and cooking.
Dense smoke fills the rooms.
Nepal is highest traditional fuel consuming country
in Asia
5000 people across the world die due to HIV/AIDS
but 2 million people die due to internal smoke
3. Consequences for the rural population
Eye irritation
Blindness
Chronic bronchial inflammation
Asthama,Lung cancer
Chronics arterial vessel diseases,sever burn injuries
which affect mainly small kids
6. Modified Nepali chulo
It is modified form of traditional stove,which is
desgined increase internal combustion
It is easily efficient,safe to use
Less consumption of biomass energy
It is easily ignitiable
Reduce the internal smoke
10. Advantages
Co is reduced about 41% than that of Traditional
chulo(TC) and 80% less compared to open fire(OF).
Used 18% fuel than traditional and 41% fuel less than
OF.
PM(particulate matter) is completely burnt
Emission of smoke is reduced
Portable and easily efficient
It is eco-friendly in field
