This document discusses design considerations for mobile apps. It notes that mobile interactions are limited by small screens, difficulty typing, interruptions, and battery/power constraints. To address these, designers should focus on the most important features, limit tasks to one or two actions, and design for thumb interactions since people use thumbs for 75% of touches. Designers should also focus on mastering one core feature extremely well, use clear visual communication through colors, fonts, icons and infographics, leverage gestures over taps, and think beyond style guides if a better approach is identified. The document provides examples of both good and bad mobile app designs to illustrate these points.
