History of Mobile Phones
• Alexander graham Bell invented telephone and
1878 made the first phone call.
• In 1940s Motorola developed a backpacked two-
way radio, the Walkie-Talkie and a large hand-
held two-way radio for the US military.
• Motorola introduced some of its first cell phones
during the 1980s.
• Those phones were completely different form
devices we have today since from no side they
were cost affection and handy.

phones, referred to as
First Generation or
1G, were introduced
to the public market in
1983 by the Motorola
Company.

improvement were made in the

These photos used second
generation, or 2G technology.
• In 1990 the first call phone call
was made using the new digital
technology that became
characteristic of this era.

• The third Generation technology or
3G, is what many people currently
use in their digital calculator phone
today. This technology was created
very soon after the excitement that
the 2G technology created. This
new technology in not only capable
of transferring voice data but it is
also able to transfer other type of
data including email information
and instant messages.

• Fourth generation mobile or
4G launch in global market
2008 but in India launch in
2010.
• 4G 10 times faster than 3G
able to handle download
speeds between 5 and 12
Mbps and upload speeds

• Mobile phone have already started functioning as

they are already good for "Time-Pass“. they can
also function as calculator, digital camera, audio
recorder, documents viewer, multimedia
messaging.
