 Alexander Graham Bell is the inventor of the
    telephone.
 In 1878 he made the first phone call.
 Telephones have come a long way
 Motorola introduced some of the first
cellphones to the public during the 1980s.
 These cellphones cost as much as $4,000, and
    weighed over 2 pounds!
 Cellphones can make phone calls and even
some have video recording capabilities but
they do not have GPS capabilities along with a
whole array of other applications like the
    smartphone
 Smartphones can also edit documents, serf the
web, and interpret and decipher information
 Smartphones are advancing at a very quick
pace and some have the ability to talk to you,
answer questions, turn off your lights when
you are not there, open doors, and even watch
    movies.
 Definition: A smartphone is a mobile phone
built on a mobile operating system, with more
    advanced computing capability connectivity
    than a feature phone
 Old smartphone New smartphone
 About half of the mobile phones used in the
U.S. are "smart," and that percentage is
growing rapidly, according to Nielsen data
    released in March.
 Smartphones are unique because they have the
ability to run 3rd party applications.
 This means that you don’t need to change your
phone every time there is a new app on the
    market
 All you’ll need to do is install it on your phone.
 These days, its all about the iPhone 5 or the
    Black Berry Z10
 The way these phones are increasing in
technology, what does this mean for us?
 Will they become smarter than us?... Have you
ever seen “I Robot” or “The Terminator”!?
 Smartphones can make many things much
    more easier
 It can also save time by finding things in the
    web very quickly
 THE END
