MMT is a new open source MT system which will overcome four technology barriers that still hinder the wide adoption of MT software by end-users and language service providers. MMT will make unnecessary any initial training phase for using an MT system; it will be able to manage the context automatically; create a scalable infrastructure for users and data; finally, MMT will collect huge amounts of data to fill the gap with commercial MT systems from web companies.
