This document discusses initiatives to improve math literacy for college students by connecting MyMathLab, course redesign, and Quantway programs. It outlines problems with traditional developmental math sequences and solutions being tested, including Statway and Quantway programs. 6. A New Course, A Simple Goal
In one semester, Mathematical Literacy for
College Students gives a student at the beginning
algebra level the mathematical maturity to be
successful in statistics, liberal arts math, or
intermediate algebra.
