Healthcare is undergoing a transformation. Consumers want to make informed choices and take control of their lives, and pharma companies must be ready to meet their needs. This means building a new healthcare ecosystem that places the patient at its center, with the “person” fully engaged in his or her own healthcare. But with this move to person-centric healthcare, payers and providers are no longer the main decision makers.
So what does this mean for today’s marketers?
In this exclusive Social On Us webinar we discuss:
- Where marketing is failing to address healthcare concerns
- How “big data” is a change-driver for a new healthcare ecosystem
- New opportunities for predictive and preventative medical intervention
- Impact of digital healthcare on patient privacy
Webinar materials prepared for Association for Community-Affilitated Plans (ACAP). Healthcare consumerism is coming - are you prepared? As industry changes, so consumers adapt, and today's consumers have a world of information and engagement tools at their fingertips. In this webinar, learn how health insurance organizations and other healthcare companies can increase and improve their consumer experience through meaningful engagement, through social media.
Patient expectations are rising, and organizations are continuously being asked to do more with less.
Additionally, the convergence of several significant emerging market and policy trends, economic uncertainty, labor force shortages, and the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency has created a unique set of challenges for healthcare organizations.
Attend this timely webinar to learn about new trends and their impact on key healthcare issues, such as patient engagement, migration to value-based care, analytics adoption, the use of alternative care sites, and data governance and management challenges.

Enjoy Life Foods, which is a leading brand in the packaged gluten-free and allergen-friendly product category, launched an aggressive mobile marketing program without a proprietary app and still enjoyed a 42% increase in sales in 2012. How did they do it?
Drawing from a practical and grassroots perspective, Joel shares how they engage consumers in the digital space and how they put programs together based on consumer feedback, at no cost to the company. This fast-growing specialty category engages one-to-one with consumers in peer communities like Pinterest and Facebook - transitioning from asking to listening and observing – to provide customized and personalized experiences.
Joel shared how word of mouth and free consumer feedback lifted sales for this smaller, 10-year old CPG, and allowed them to surpass major multinational CPG brands in the space.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
