COMPANY PROFILE:
MITAS GENERATORS LTD was founded in 1998 embarking on a unique endeavor
of becoming the sole dedicated manufacturer of Power Generators in the country of
Cyprus. Moving ahead with the aim of expanding its business even further, the
company began exporting generating sets in 2002 and has since been active in this
field with exports to North Africa and the Middle East.
Opting for the more challenging avenue of focusing on the production of generating
sets of high quality, versus compromising quality for cost, we have managed to build
a strong reputation among our clients over the years, for the reliability of our range of
generators. This commitment to ensuring the quality of our products has also been
recently verified with the ISO 9001 certification. In addition, our continuous sales
activity through personal visits to the target market areas, as well as various
exhibitions over the years has allowed us to establish relationships on which the
planned further expansion of the company will be based.
Looking ahead to the future, MITAS GENERATORS LTD aims to become not only
the dominant supplier of generating sets in Cyprus, but also one of the main
suppliers of Power Generators in the region, utilizing our knowledge, experience, and
drive to succeed. Our products range from portable generators of 4kVA to permanent
generators of 2000kVA. Soundproof canopies made of galvanized steel and Manual
or Automatic Control panels are just some of the standard options that can be offered
according to our clients’ requests.
In addition to genset manufacturing, sales and service, we are involved in the sales
and service of water pumps and pressure systems, motor service and rewinding,
construction and installation of electrical control panels, having established
collaboration with major hotel units, governmental departments and nationwide
companies, to mention just a part of our clientele.

OPPORTUNITIES:
Through our activity up to date, we have been able to evaluate and identify a number
of opportunities for the expansion of our sales volume, referring to the general
requirements of the Power Generation market, as well as projected business that we
consider to be exclusive to Mitas Generators due to specific circumstances and
potential that has been created through our ongoing relationship with the prospective
clients.
Furthermore, we expect that external developments in the area, as well as certain
geopolitical factors will allow us to have more access to the target markets, as well as
an advantage in certain cases, offering a reliable and efficient source for Power
Generation products. Among others, some of the opportunities, as well as factors to
be taken under consideration are:
 Penetration of the Iraqi market
 Initiating exports to new markets such as Iran and Pakistan
 Increased capability to secure several local Public and Private tenders
 Improved efficiency in production process in terms of time and cost, through
the investment the new manufacturing facility
 Limassol Port becoming the Eastern Mediterranean transshipment port for
one of the major shipping lines (outcome: shorter transit times to target
markets)
 Location and status of Cyprus as EU member
SALES & MARKETING ACTIVITY:
Taking the aforementioned opportunities into consideration, the company plans to
continue and diversify its sales and marketing activity as follows, aiming to the
successful implementation of its expansion plan and for the highest possible return
on its investment:
 Personal meetings with prospective agents in specific target markets.

Moving ahead with the aim of expanding its business even further, the company began exporting generating sets in 2002 and has since been active in this field with exports to North Africa and the Middle East. Opting for the more challenging avenue of focusing on the production of generating sets of high quality, versus compromising quality for cost, we have managed to build a strong reputation among our clients over the years, for the reliability of our range of generators. This commitment to ensuring the quality of our products has also been recently verified with the ISO 9001 certification. In addition, our continuous sales activity through personal visits to the target market areas, as well as various exhibitions over the years has allowed us to establish relationships on which the planned further expansion of the company will be based. Looking ahead to the future, MITAS GENERATORS LTD aims to become not only the dominant supplier of generating sets in Cyprus, but also one of the main suppliers of Power Generators in the region, utilizing our knowledge, experience, and drive to succeed. Our products range from portable generators of 4kVA to permanent generators of 2000kVA. Soundproof canopies made of galvanized steel and Manual or Automatic Control panels are just some of the standard options that can be offered according to our clients’ requests. In addition to genset manufacturing, sales and service, we are involved in the sales and service of water pumps and pressure systems, motor service and rewinding, construction and installation of electrical control panels, having established collaboration with major hotel units, governmental departments and nationwide companies, to mention just a part of our clientele. Furthermore, we expect that external developments in the area, as well as certain geopolitical factors will allow us to have more access to the target markets, as well as an advantage in certain cases, offering a reliable and efficient source for Power Generation products.
