The document discusses various elements of filmmaking for a short film about assassins, including costumes, props, makeup, expression, setting, and lighting. There are two main costumes - a modern outfit with a unique jacket and futuristic accessories, and an 18th century outfit made by the filmmaker containing period-accurate details. The two major props are an orb-like Piece of Eden and different guns to represent the weapons of past and present assassins. Makeup is only used at the end to show blood from a fight. Expression and lighting aim to enhance the hidden and hunted feelings of the assassin characters.

2. Costumes
In my film there are two main costumes used. In
the present day there is modern clothes, or
futuristic clothes. This includes a jacket that,
would keep you from standing out in crowd but
looks unique and this made a good assassin
jacket, because they stay hidden but they look
definitive and they stand out in their own right.
To compliment the jacket I wore black trousers
and running shoes, for comfortable movement. I
also had vambraces for the modern costume, I
felt that if I had vambraces similar to the past
assassin then they would connect more, so
these vambraces tend out less and look
futurism. Finally to finish the costume there is
an ear price in my ear, which when I'm not
wearing a hood I can use.
3. Costumes
In my film there are two main costumes used. In the
past, or rather 18th century, the costume I wear fits
specifically to that era. The assassins need to stay
hidden but stand out in their own right and of course
look good. So this costume is good because it fits
the era it was in, a civil war military like jacket for
example. This costume I made myself, and am
most proud of because it contains the most detail.
Vambraces, boots, leather trousers which I sew
together myself, a coat which I made, a vest with
padding, a bear claw necklace. Leather belts that
held pouches and pistol holsters. Pistols. A quiver a
box, trousers to go under the leggings, a tomahawk,
and a red sash with a buckle that has the
assassins logo on it. Having a detailed costumed I
felt made the film more believable and realistic.
4. Props
In my film there are two major props that I
will focus on. Although threes are a dozen
or more smaller props that are part of the
customer, the main props that the film
focuses on are important to the story. The
first is a orb looking object. This is a piece
of eden which is a powerful ball that
contains powerful energy. In the backstory
the templar's use these to control. The
assassin must find them first to stop them,
because they believe in true freedom.
When I find the object in my opening it is in
a lake, and the prop was made of
polystyrene and clay which meant it floats.
Therefore I had to bury it underwater to
keep it from floating away so I could film.
5. Props
In my film there are two major props that I
will focus on. Although there are a dozen or
more smaller props that are part of the film,
the main props that the film focuses on are
important to the story. The only other major
props in the film are the gun. The machine
un, which is used in the opening is a small
automatic weapon a hunter could carry and
still deal out a lot of quick damage., wear as
contrastingly the modern assassin has a
smaller pistol, because they don’t kill
masses for three sake of it, the pistol is a
weapon to use after yourself, the charter is
a weapon and therefore I use the pistol last
to finish the enemy off. Having the smaller
pistol means that the assassin can have
likes to carry.
6. Make-up, Expression
Setting and Lighting
In my film I do not wear and make until the
end wear I use fake blood after a fight.
These like all films makes it looks realistic.
The expression in the film is what the actors
faces look like, and how they express
feeling or emotions. For the first part of my
opening, where we focus on the assassin,
is cloaked and therefore hidden. I felt
having no view of the characters face
during the film was good because there is
mystery to who the character is. The
modern assassin contrastingly is still an
assassin and therefore should be hidden,
but because it is set in present day, he
wears no hood and is more modern in the
way that he is not hidden and use can see
the expressions he has. Like when he finds
the grave he has a smile on his face but
when he has a gun to his back there is
feeling of regret and anger. The setting of
the film I feel is danger, and that they actors
are constantly being hunted. Therefore
having music and lighting that compliments
this closed feeling of being hunted down
helps.t his was done by reducing lighting
from the sun so it seems darker.
