Migros is one of the largest companies in Switzerland, founded in 1925. It operates supermarkets, gas stations, electronics stores, and various other retail businesses. In 2006, Migros acquired LeShop.ch, one of Europe's largest online grocery stores, which delivers products to over 80% of Swiss households. The acquisition of LeShop.ch provided added value to Migros by expanding its reach, increasing its customer base to over 50,000 families, and providing over 200 tons of products annually to customers who prefer online shopping to visiting stores.
