Business Development Executive: In my past role as a Business Development Executive - Sales
team in HCL's Engineering Services line, I was part of a team responsible for identifying new &
cross-selling opportunities for increasing Sales pipeline, Bid management/Proposal preparation
for pipeline conversion for Target/Current accounts in Semiconductor OEM Vertical with a
portfolio size of $ 50 Million USD of annual revenue for HCL Technologies.
Key Roles:
• Strategy Building:- Deep and thorough study & analysis of clients business understand their
requirements and then form a strategy and find out a way through which we can increase our
revenue share in that account . This basically helps our sales teamto pitch right product to right
clients as per requirement.
 Responsible for complete sales cycle for offshore/onsite clients, from cold calls to
acquiring business along with regular interaction with onsite clients for achieving
targets.
 Represented HCL’s SEMI presence in industrial meets as a part of lead generation and
conversion to pipeline.
 Improved post sales support service level by 20%from FY-2014 levels which in-turn
increased 35% in monthly sales for the existing accounts.
 Role involves pre-Sales, proposal handling, strategy formulation, bid management,
contracts, tenders, Market and Competition Research, solution Formation, providing
technical and commercial solutions for bids range of USD 5 million.
 Increased sales revenue from USD 200K to 700K for existing 3 minor accounts over 4
months time frame. Solely through prospecting and securing new business.
 Acquired USD 2.5 million contract from Japan’s largest OEM in Semiconductor domain.
My contribution involves product analysis with insights on advanced technologies in
photolithography equipment in comparison with competitors. Further into ROI analysis
after implementation. Proposal handling and Regular follow-up warm calls.
 Acquired contracts worth USD 600,000 over 5 months time frame. Presently, these
account generate USD 2.5Million revenue for HCL Technologies with team of 18
engineers.
