Junior Project Engineer – Winthrop Engineering Ltd. Cork 2013-2014
Duties: Overseen the successful completion of Mechanical, Electrical Projects including
the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of the systems. Projects included the
renovation of Mallow General Hospital including the installation of the Water,
Ventilation/Heating services as well as ongoing co-ordination with other clients. Following
that, I was office based where I was involved in Procurement and Co-Ordination including the
preparation for an Electrical and Mechanical Contract in Ringaskiddy Co Cork.

Duties: I assisted the Project Engineer in the laying of the Infrastructure including the
laying of the foundation for the installation of the turbines. I was based in Taur, Co Cork.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
Sports
Represented Club, County and College, as well as the Kerry New York team in Gaelic Football.
I captained the Freshers team at the Institute of Technology Tralee, and won the Trench Cup with
the senior team the same year. To date I have represented Kerry at Minor, Under 21 and Junior
Football level, winning the All Ireland Junior Football Championship 2012.
Volunteer Work
Having volunteered with both Special Olympics Ireland and Tralee homeless centre, I feel very
passionate about giving something back to the community. Volunteer work has given me a great
deal of joy and fulfilment. I hope to continue my involvement with both for years to come.
I’ve also been involved in training under age football teams with my local club Churchill.
Athletics
I have participated in, and won numerous medals in Athletics from a very young age,
representing Kerry, Munster and Ireland at varying levels and competitions with the Athletic
Association of Ireland, Schools, Club and Community Games. I have also represented Ireland at
the International Children’s Games in both Bangkok and Coventry.
Additional Information
I have a keen interest in Electronics. I particularly enjoy working to resolve problems with
appliances and computers. I am proficient in programs such as Microsoft Office, CAD As well as
Electronics software such as ERACS – Power Systems Analysis Software.
