Change to the cloud: by psychology pull or technology push?Roland Driesen
With every version the on-premise products offer great new functionality and state of the art technology. After release most IT departments are in doubt: when do we upgrade to this 'latest and greatest' version. Is there budget, when do we plan the downtime and will the end-users 'get it'. Isn't change the only constant factor in life? With cloud offerings you are no longer in control when which function will be released to your end users. In this session Duco Bergsma will explain the pro's and con's of directing the change with on-premises installations versus auto-pilot with cloud deployments from a technical push perspective. Roland Driesen will guide you through the impact of both scenarios on the user acceptance from a psychological pull perspective. Roland and Duco will share their cloud decision matrix to advice when to use cloud or on-premise and how to implement it with maximum user adoption.

Under eventet berördes följande punkter:
- Big Data och Business Intelligence (BI)
- “The Google Big Data tools” – framgångsfaktorer och hur man kommer igång
- Google Cloud Platform och hur man genomför en framgångsrik molnsatsning
Vi presenterade case och berättade om viktiga lärdomar vi dragit i samarbetet med Google och våra kunder.

Microsoft 365 Copilot: How to boost your productivity with AI – Part one: Ado...Nikki Chapple
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a revolutionary productivity assistant that leverages large language models (LLMs) and your organisational data to help you create, communicate, and collaborate more effectively across Microsoft 365 apps.
Copilot can assist you with various tasks, such as drafting emails, making presentations, processing data, and finding insights. But to make the most of this game-changing technology, you must master three key aspects: adoption, data security, and governance.
In this two-part session, a Microsoft 365 expert, Nikki will guide you through these aspects and show you how to use Copilot to boost your productivity, creativity, and confidence.
In the first part of the session, Nikki will focus on adoption. She will explain that Copilot is not just a tool—it’s a mindset. It’s about embracing AI as a partner, not a threat. It’s about creating a culture of AI literacy in your organisation, where everyone can use Copilot’s features and understand its limits.
It’s about using Copilot to enhance your skills and outcomes, not to replace them.
Key takeaways:
– What Microsoft 365 Copilot is, and how it works
– How to build your business case for Microsoft 365 Copilot
– How to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot in your organisation and overcome common barriers and challenges

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

Need / Exec Summary
- Identify the problem: Microsoft products are complex and not being used outside of office
The main services that are in commercial cloud are Azure; Office 365 business services.
Googles revenue is an estimate from their executives.
Barriers to entry in industry are decreasing which means more competitors are entering into the market, which is why we believe it is vital that Microsoft focuses its efforts on maintaining and increasing its market share.
Today is May 25th and the GDPR is being placed on all companies doing business with the EU.
We explored k-12 (social media), college students (group work), gamers (entertainment), corporate professionals (news, messenger, email), and tech workers (data collection). While targeting the next generation (k-12) was very tempting we surveyed highschool students and found that they are mainly using their devices for social media. Additionally, we do not want to isolate Microsofts current customers. Therefore, we believe it is wisest to focus on business professionals who are already using Microsoft and focus efforts on getting them to use Microsoft applications across multiple devices.
Tech workers (processing lots of data), college students (more and more team projects), business managers/directors (lots of travel), business support (routine tasks)
ALL ARE WORKING REMOTELY MORE
From a survey of 46 working professionals.
Is this consistent with the market? Do we have stats about this??
How do we get people to use Microsoft across all their devices even when they are not at work?
Traditional commercial Office licensing was down 17 percent, as Office users migrate from perpetual and Software Assurance licensing to Office 365 subscriptions.
We will keep pushing the subscription based Office 365 offerings and including the Shutters feature and Spotify subscriptions. These features will increase user engagement across devices.
"As of last quarter, Microsoft officials said that Microsoft is generating more revenue from Office 365 Commercial subscriptions than Office sold via non-subscription licensing. " zdnet.com
