Microsoft HoloLens is an augmented reality smart glasses developed by Microsoft. It combines holograms and lenses to overlay digital content onto the physical world. HoloLens uses holograms, which are 3D objects made entirely of light that can be viewed from different angles, to pin digital content such as apps, videos and more into the physical environment. This allows users to interact with holograms similarly to physical objects. HoloLens runs on Windows 10 and does not require wires, phones or a connection to a PC.

develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software &
hardware and personal computer and best know for windows operating system.
 HoloLens-HoloLens came by combining the two words “Hologram” and “lens”.
 Lens- A lens is a transmissive optical device that affects the focus of a light
beam through refraction.
 Then what about “hologram”?

3.  A Hologram is an object like any other object in real world ,with only one
difference :instead of being made of physical matter,a hologram is made entirely of
light.
 Holographic objects can be viewed from different angles and distances just like
other objects ,but they do not offer any physical resistance when touched or pushed
because they do not have any mass.
 Holograms can be two-dimensional like a piece of paper or a TV screen, or they
can be three-dimensional just like other physical objects in the real world.
