 The next step in Windows technology is called Microsoft HoloLens —
an augmented reality headset that uses holograms. Alex Kipman, key
inventor for hololens.
 Our Digital world is blended with our Real world.
 They are wearable, Glass driven 3D environment. It uses powerful
camera to sense and create images.
 They are more substantial Google glass and less boxy than OCULUS
RIFT.

 Microsoft is also developing a tool called Holo Studio that will allow
users to build their own holograms.
 It is Simple, easy to use.
 These powerful tools helps us to create the 3D objects in just minutes.
Instead of using any CAD or another computer aided softwares.
 We can also zoom in and zoom out the images just by placing our
fingers where ever we want to zoom. It records an images very clearly
and vividly.
 It also has most exciting feature called voice recognition.

3. HPU- Holographic Processing Unit

6. How it Works??
 Instead of using CAD or CAM ( computer aided softwares) we can
develop a car,bike in this technology with more ease.
 We can even take a picture of MARS, project it on a plain surface,
and can walk on the image, kneel-down and examine it.
 It has powerful sensors through which it can sense our every action
and does the thing whatever the user has ordered.
 It has a camera whose filed vision is 120*120 degrees.

 One of the most promising use case scenarios for Microsoft HoloLens is

 Using Holo Notes in Skype, friends and colleagues can see you
environment from their tablet or PC and draw instructions that appear
as holograms in your world
 It can save a huge amount of time. Because of these hololens, we can
prepare a 3D image in seconds.
 There will be a completely new interface present between user and the
system, which is fast, secure and reliable
 Holo lens mainly display information in a hands-free format.

 The goggles themselves are a part of something that look
like a skull cap and is tightened to your head with the
straps.
 The biggest distinguishing feature of hololens is that,
there are no wires and no need of connection to a pc / phone.
