➢ HISTORY (google)
➢ DESCRIPTION (self)
➢ CURRENT USAGE (google)
➢ FUTURE USAGE (google & self)
➢ INTERESTING FACTS (self)
MOTIVATION:
• Work as a BRAIN in circuit
• We need to programmed it
• But we do not modify it after we programmed
• it
• We are SOFTWARE engineering students
INTRODUCTION:
"A Microcontroller (MCU) is an small circuit
including all parts of complete computer."
➢ Input/Output
➢ Memory
➢ Processor
➢ Timers
➢ Analog to digital converters.
➢ Digital analog converters
HISTORY:
• Developed by a small company called Intel in
1970s
• Intel developed a 4 bit microprocessor
(4004)
• In 1974 the more powerful
microprocessor (8008)
HISTORY:
• In 1984 Atmel developed 8 bit microprocessor
• In 1985 Motorola released its first
microprocessor, the 6800, 8 bit
processor,powerful as intel 8080.
DESCRIPTION:
• Compiler supports your
microcontroller and compile your
code into machine-code for your chip
• Perform one task and execute one
specific application
•Used for controlling other devices
or machines
CURRENT USAGE:
• Microcontroller in Day to Day Life Devices
• Temperature sensing
• Fire detection & safety devices
• Process control devices
• Microcontroller in Industrial Control Devices
• Industrial instrumentation devices
• Process control devices
• Microcontroller in Metering & Measurement Devices:
• Volt Meter
• Measuring revolving objects
• Current meter
FUTURE USAGE:
• GOOD FUTURE:
• Microcontrollers is not more ram, pin
outs, or more sample code
• Reduce the burden of man
• Control the motor automatically
• Do work in less time
FUTURE USAGE:
BAD FUTURE:
Data is not secure
• Irresponsible generation
• Privacy in a phone call, convert any phone call to
text and then store it in a database.
INTERESTING FACTS:
• Working like a brain
• We can design it according to our need
• It's like a small computer
• Not take burden Execute one program
