Technology
- Managed the effort to rebuild the network foundation on cutting edge SAN and Virtualization technology,
expanded the network into Mexico, and rebuilt all of the hardware infrastructure
- I was the primary driver to establish an Avamar disaster recovery system. Creating an automatic offsite data
storage process and laid the foundation for a hot site
- Gained executive approval to establish Convergent Plant Wide Ethernet (CPWE) in manufacturing areas to
improve data network reliability and performance. Reduced processing downtime 5% through system up-time
reliability increases
- US / Canada major ERP upgrade – established and worked with internal technology team to re-architect the
technology foundation for a 20 year old ERP system. Utilizing current oracle database technologies, including
pluggable databases, Oracle Identity and Enterprise management (OIM and OEM) products
Software Development
- Developed the idea and managed the execution enabling EDI transactions from outside processors to
automatically update the ERP system, reducing inventories 10%, and improved AP accuracy
- Conceptualized the idea of an intranet WEB application called The Weld. This application is used throughout the
company as a portal for mission critical custom applications; fully integrated into the ERP system. The Weld
improved the accuracy of information and is an important application for all QS and TS certifications, and audit
events. The WEB portal currently hosts 15-20 mission critical custom applications.
- Led a technology team that designed processing line overhead displays with real time machine efficiency data
displayed as the product is produced. The software was integrated with the processing line PLC and the ERP
system. Improved efficiency and critical metric visibility thru visual communication was achieved

- Production Excellence Projects (PEP) – I developed an idea to capture, execute, and internally commit to ideas
submitted by anyone in the company. Execution of the submitted ideas was a cross functional effort. I initiated
this idea in 2001; the PEP remains an effective continuous improvement tool to this day
- Led the effort to reduce the month end finance closing from 5 days to 3
- Initiated an idea to develop a Quality Data Command center for reactive/proactive data analysis of products

not have EDI capabilities. Reduced AR errors and scrap claims 10% thru timely and accurate data
