established it as a revolution in electronic medical records (EMR); company was founded by healthcare and
technology professionals to establish a service that addressed the unique challenges of healthcare practice
management. Direct operating, marketing, and software development functions; extensive focus on leveraging
years of healthcare knowledge and assembling a comprehensive system of people, engineers, hosting, and
support to customize technologies in an effort to meet the needs of and requirements of specialized practices.
• Product/Technology Development – Collaborated with the CEO on completing the developmentand licensing
process for an Electronic Medical Records product designed for orthopedic practices; other products include a
premiere Internet-based ASP service for the chiropractic profession, and a SmartClient application is
updated via the Internet and works to improve efficiency, patient services, and staff effectiveness while
reducing IT costs.

subsequently reelected to become the Chairman of Healthcare for the county. Scope of responsibility included

• Joint Venture & New Businesses – Elected Chairman of the Adirondack Regional Business Incubator, a
group working as part of a joint venture with economic development organizations to acquire and renovate a
facility to be used as a technology incubator. Instrumental in securing $1.3+ million in federal and state
grants and local matches totaling $650,000 for the project; incubator program provides counseling, financing
and other services to small start-up companies, with the goal of fostering new businesses that will grow and
relocate to area industrial parks.
• Telemedicine Program – Brought the county to the new millennium from an IT perspective by instituting a
telemedicine program for home healthcare; telemedicine enables basic medical procedures to be performed
(e.g., taking pulse and blood pressure), medical information to be transferred via the telephone and/or
Internet for the purpose of analysis, real-time consultation, and ongoing daily monitoring of home
healthcare patients.

of this nursing home facility in one year. Created an entire system of business and operating processes,
