Recent Performance Milestones:
2007-2016. Recent employer: Continuum Care Hospice and Continuum Care Home Health, LLCs. Positions
held is Executive Director. Successfully developed and responsible for all operations, financially and clinically,
of a three million dollar hospice agency and a million dollar home health agency. Completed a timeline for
licensure (hospice), accreditation (home health), application processes: i.e. CMS 855A, policy and
procedure manuals, human resource manual along with hiring and contracting for clinical staff,
orientation, marketing efforts; i.e. brochures, website and all other facets necessary to get the hospice
and home health up and operational generating the 1st year with the hospice a revenue of $800,000
and home health $100,000. Hospice census has grown to an ADC of 45. Continue with maintaining over
all operations of the hospice with 3 perfect surveys. Home Health is accredited for deemed status by ACHC
with Medicare/Medicaid Certification. Continue with maintaining operations of home health. Census has
grown to an ADC 30.
2006-2007. As a Sales Healthcare Consultant with Plante & Moran, PLLC, responsibilities were of lead
generation, account and project management in 5 states for long term care clinical and financial
software. 80 Facilities maintained include single facilities to multi-chain facilities with annual subscription
fees totaling $650,000. Provide system demonstrations to key decision makers; i.e. CFOs, CEOs and their
personnel. Assess, review, and educate facility personnel on clinical processes for the software system.
Assist facility IT personnel on identifying computer hardware, plant layout, and installation processes.
Develop and work collaboratively with clients to be a single source solution for financial and business
processes.
2001-2006. Positions previously held with Trans Health, Inc. include Regional, Senior, and Director of
Business Development, Provider Relations Specialist/Clinical Liaison. Primary focus on orchestrating
aggressive operations turnaround of multiple Skilled Nursing facilities in need of disciplined leadership
and improved processes. Maintained census growth and payer mix (Medicare, Insurance and Private
Pay) in 2005 through market analysis and implementation of strategies to meet and exceed census
goals. Built a top-caliber team of Business Development and Clinical Personnel within the facilities,
significantly impacting quality mix and census. Develops and provides Continuing Education programs and
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation classes to Community referral sources and facility staff to maintain regulatory

1999-2001. As Hospice Operations Manager for MVI Hospice Care, Inc. successfully developed and operated
a million-dollar home health hospice agency. Played a key role in cultivating the initial contacts and
relationships that led to the growth of the agency from 1 to 25 patients being serviced on a weekly
basis. Provided structuring and negotiations of several contracts for the agency to provide hospice
services in a cost-effective manner. Provided on-going educational programs on hospice services that built
collaborative relationships in the community for a solid referral basis.
1998-1999. As Director of Home Health Care for Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc,
established a private duty division, including organizational infrastructure and staffing. Identified target
markets with direct physician and hospital referrals to grow the Medicare/Medicaid census from 1-2
monthly visits to 300 visits per week within a 12-month period. Secured long term and insurance
contracts for private duty and Medicare services. Obtained JCAHO accreditation with accommodation
along with 2 perfect surveys with the Dept. of Health and Human Services.
1990-1998. As Director of Clinical Management (DCM) for Olsten Health Services, Inc. provided exceptional
managerial and educational training services to other DCMs throughout the corporation to assist in
their quest to provide the highest quality services and products to healthcare consumers. Also
oversaw the day-to-day operations of a 2 million dollar Homecare agency, including quality improvement and
compliance with 8 perfect surveys, marketing, and strategic business planning.

the Ohio Dept. of Health. Continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including regulatory
compliance, internal and external marketing and strategic business planning, with full P&L responsibility.
Received approval from the Ohio Dept. of Health to expand county coverage.
Plante & Moran, PLLC, Cleveland, Ohio – 2006 to 2007

Sales Healthcare Consultant. Independent consultant responsible for Clinical and Financial software
opportunities and account management through networking, trade shows, and Plante & Moran clients.
Provide on-site demonstrations showing the features and functionalities of the system to potential clients and
their staff. Perform IT assessments to skilled nursing & assisted living facilities, and CCRCs to determine
what type of computer hardware is needed for the software system. Initiated a marketing campaign through
direct mail using a 3 piece mailer process introducing the software solution in Ohio and Michigan with on-
going campaigns reaching to Illinois, Indiana, and PA. Provides on-going education to clients on the clinical
and financial systems.
Trans Health Inc., Sparks, Maryland – 2001 to 2006
Consolidator of skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute healthcare businesses.

Privately owned agency provides end of life services with compassion and dignity on the journey home.
Hospice Operations Manager. Oversaw day-to-day operations, including marketing, direct sales, and
strategic business planning, with full P&L responsibility. Responsible for driving new business development,
formulating new management agreements with vendors, negotiating agreement fees and terms, and
maintaining ongoing relationships through cold calling with current community referral sources including
hospitals, physicians, Homecare and other senior care agencies; independent/assisted living facilities, nursing
homes and Alzheimer’s facilities.

One of the long-standing communities’ religious affiliated long term care continuums to service the growing senior

Director of Home Health Care. Led all corporate development activities through hands on problem and
conflict resolution responsibilities, including strategic planning, compliance, market feasibility; research of
competitors, data collection and report preparation for private duty division establishment and building
Medicare/Medicaid agency. Obtained regulatory approvals to secure tactical and strategic goals to build a

In addition, developed and executed a marketing plan inclusive of a designed web site, video for TV/cable

National home health care, private duty, and staffing company serving a wide variety of multigenerational
individuals across the healthcare system.
Director of Clinical Management. Provided managerial level responsibilities for day-to-day operations
through clinical supervision and direct training of 200 employees within a tri-county area. Maintained quality
improvement activities for release of bills to Medicare, Medicaid, third party payers, and private pay.

provide nursing, IV and private duty services. Wrote and pioneered the first home IV Dobutamine cardiac
