1. AREACON SPECIAL AWARD
Active Citizen Framework Award
Objective:
• Promote the application of Active Citizen Framework
• For LOs to be properly guided with the use of the framework
• To put emphasis not only on result but also on the methodology and best practice
• Increase the LO project’s relevance to the community
Guidelines:
• LO can enroll any of their project in the ACF award within Q1 2017 only
• LO can only enroll 1 project for this bid
• For co-hosted projects, LOs must discuss amongst themselves who will bid for the ACF Award
• Project timeline should be within January to July timeframe
• Bids for this award will not go through the normal e-bid process
• It will be an Oral and Written Bidding
• All Bid reports will be submitted in PDF format, 1 page per criteria with 2 supporting pictures
• 200 words max per criteria excluding statistics
• To be awarded during Areacon
• The winner will receive a Prize Money of Php10,000

Formulate / Plan Sustainable Solutions : 20%
Taking Action with Partners : 20%
Monitor and Evaluation Results : 20%
Benefit of ACF to members : 10%
Community Impact including statistics : 10%

Evaluation Process:
• Report submission and presentation will be done in milestones
• Evaluation will done after every report submission and presentation
• Bids that are not able to comply with the report submission and presentation milestones will be
automatically disqualified
