This is my painted picture for Meme & Co for the year 2018. It is a manifesto for my business and brand, 3 years from today. By releasing it publicly, I am holding myself accountable in order to make it my reality.
I have over 18 years experience in sales, marketing and advertising, I climbed the corporate ladder and was committed to my career but my priorities changed when I had my children. My life became a struggle, trying to find a balance between wanting to retain my worth and independence in the workforce without compromising my ability to be a present and attentive mother. I found myself working in an intimidating and ultimately soul-destroying environment. It stripped me of my self esteem and my confidence; it was the strength of my children and the support of my husband that gave me the resolve to be resilient, to stand up for myself and stand up for my values. With a strong resolve never to go back to the corporate world as I had known and through commitment, perseverance and a passion to succeed, I found as one door closed behind me other doors opened in front of me.
It was this journey that gave me the motivation and the drive to create an opportunity for other women who want to be in control, who value their independence, who want to be empowered. My drive to keep a balance between work and my family life ultimately resulted in `taking a leap’ into the unknown and embarking on a personal journey of self reflection, new challenges and personal growth.
The name Meme & Co came from the name my son William use to call his sister Aimee when he couldn't pronounce it properly `Meme'. The Co represents William, my other daughter Jessica and my husband Tim. On a business level the Co represents all the partnerships connected to the company that Meme & Co has been built on.

extremely important to us. We make sure the

19. My advise, learnings and knowledge I share via

received. I inspire other women to chase their

MY TEAM
22. I feel blessed each and every day. I get to spend
quality time with my children and my husband whilst
being passionate about my work and what we are
achieving.
For the life stage of my children, my pleasures are
simple.
MY DAILY LIFE
23. I happily wake to the abundance of my children.
Once at school I take time out for myself, a walk
along the beach with our dog or go for a run to get a
clear perspective on what I need to achieve for the
day. I spend a few hours working then catch up for
coffee or lunch with clients/people I’m collaborating
with/team members. The afternoon is spent with my
laptop sitting outdoors enjoying the winter or
summer sun before picking the kids up from school.
The afternoon is spent with the children and the
evening with my husband whilst enjoying a glass of
wine.
24. I have a balanced diet and exercise regularly, I live a
fit, healthy and active lifestyle. I take pride in my
appearance. I allocate time daily around my children
and husband to be free of work interruptions, to
turn off from technology so I am truly present in
the moment.
INCORPORATING WELLNESS & BALANCE
25. I have a couple of mentors that provide valuable
insight, keep me focused on the bigger picture and
on-track to achieving my goals. One of my mentors
provides focus purely on the strategic direction of
the business, my other mentor provides clarity and
accountability to ensure I maintain the lifestyle I
set out to achieve.
MY MENTORS
26. I was fortunate to meet my partner in crime when I
was 15; we have grown up together, travelled
together, have 3 amazing children together. He is
my rock, he is my support crew, he is my biggest fan.
RELATIONSHIPS
27. My family and extended family are incredibly
important to me, we are very close, they accept me
for who I am and they love me no matter what. We
have a lot of fun together, we go on holidays
together, we continue to create magical memories
together.
I have met some amazing people over the years, a
few remain by my side, but I am always open to
creating new friendships that add further depth and
meaning to my life.
