2. The music (Greek: μουσική [τέχνη] - mousike [Techne], "art of the Muses") is,
according to the traditional definition of the term, the art of organizing a coherent
and logically sensible combination of sounds and silences using the principles
fundamentals of melody, harmony and rhythm, through the intervention of
complex psycho-mental processes. The concept of music has evolved from its
origins in ancient Greece, which met without regard to poetry, music and dance as
art unit. For several decades it has become more complex definition of what is and
is not music, as featured composers, under different artistic experiences border,
have produced works which, although could be considered music, expanding the
boundaries of the definition of this art.

by Alan Freed, a disc jockey from Ohio.
