Melendi is a Spanish singer born in Oviedo, Asturias in 1979. He began his musical career in 2001 with a band and launched his solo career in 2003, releasing his first album. Some of his most popular songs include "With the full moon" and "Messy tears". In his free time, he enjoys playing football and supporting his hometown team Real Oviedo C.F.

He was born in Oviedo the twenty-first of January of nineteen-seventynine.
Nowadays he is 38 years old. His parents are Loli Espina and Gonzalo Melendi.
He has also a sister called Sonia Melendi who is very important for her
brother Melendi. He went to a high school in Oviedo. There he met Fernando
Alonso, a race driver who won the F1 world cup twice.

3. Melendi´s musical career
His music career started in 2001 with his first music group
called “Sherwood's forest”. But he decided to quit the band
and began his own musical career. In 2003 he released his
first CD. In 2004 his song “With the full moon” was the
hymn of Spain’s cycling tour. I think he's going to release his
new album soon. His best song is ¨Messy tears¨ because it
has a lot of views on youtube and other social networks. I
think he's better than Justin Bieber, who is a singer that I
like very much but not as much as Melendi.

4. THINGS HE LIKES DOING IN HIS FREE TIME
He loves singing but in his free time he also likes playing
football. He likes Oviedo´s football team called Real
Oviedo.C.F. He's also a friend of the goalkeeper Esteban, he
plays in Oviedo`s team too.
