Mir Mehboob from MSW II Sem presented on their group's field work and research in the Jaffarabad community. They learned about interacting with communities, building rapport, teamwork, and using PLA/PRA techniques. Their research problem was on child health in the community. Major findings showed common diseases in children were infections, pneumonia, jaundice, and diarrhea. Causes of diseases included polluted environment, poor sanitation, lack of vaccination and impure water. Most received immediate treatment through self-medication or traditional methods. The conclusion identified issues like poor nutrition, lack of health education, sanitation and services leading to high malnutrition rates in children under 14. Recommendations focused on supplementary nutrition
