Our partners from the Comenius program arrived at the railway station on Wednesday. On Thursday, they were welcomed at the school chapel and met with students, teachers, and local officials. Students sang songs and gave a presentation about local monuments. On Friday, teachers worked on projects while students participated in sports competitions. Everyone had lunch together with traditional Spanish foods. They visited the bullring and a local winery. On Saturday, the group toured attractions in Madrid like the Las Ventas bullring, Bernabeu Stadium, Royal Palace, and parks before shopping and returning tired to Aranjuez in the evening. On Sunday, they visited local sights like the Palace and gardens and had paella for lunch before a parade at

2. 18th Wednesday:
Our partners arrived on Wednesday at the railway station. We were
waiting for them.

3. 19th Thursday:
Welcoming in the school chapel. Meeting with Comenius students, teachers, headmaster, town
councilor and the responsible of the International programmes in the South of Madrid. The
Spanish students played and sang three songs and showed our partners the presentation they
have prepared about Aranjuez monuments. Coffee with teachers and ……

5. Despite of the rain, we tested the parade with all students.

6. After lunch we visited Toledo

8. 20th Friday
Teachers were working in project and students taking part in sport competitions.

9. ….and we had lunch with the Spanish teachers: salmorejo, grilled meat, prawns,
jamón, lacón, etc

10. and visited the bullring

11. And after that, a winery was showed to the teachers

12. 21st Saturday
We visited Madrid: Las Ventas bullring, Bernabeu stadium, Royal Palace…..

13. …. and also High Square, Cibeles Fountain, El Retiro Park,….

14. …..even shopping …..

Aranjuez about 20,00h

On Sunday morning we visited Aranjuez: the Palace, Jardín de la Isla and Parterre…

16. and we had paella for lunch…..
