On French day at school, the student dressed as a French lady and brought baguettes for snack. During a French assembly, students from each class did a catwalk while dressed in their best French outfits and older students talked about French foods. Later, the class sang along to a French song and did reading activities with flashcards within a 30 second time limit. Finally, for lunch everyone had a French-themed meal including chicken, ratatouille, and pancakes with lemon and sugar.

1. French Day
On Wednesday it was French day, I came
dressed up as a French lady and brought
some baguette in for my snack.
First we had a French assembly where two
best-dressed people from each class did the
catwalk. Then some year sixes talked about
foods from France. Last of all we sang along
to a French song called J’aime les fruits I
love it.
Next we did French activities Millie and I
loved the reading cards which is where
someone holds the card up and asks you
questions about the picture but you only
have 30 seconds to answer it.

2. Last of all we had French lunch. I had
chicken, ratatouille and for pudding
pancakes with lemon and sugar.
