Mr. Wilson is the deputy principal and oversees four Year 5 teachers - Mrs. Rogers, Mr. Worrall, Miss Yee, and Mrs. Johnston. Students receive specialist teaching in areas like art, music, and extension math. They will cover topics like creating a positive classroom, outdoor education, and energy through integrated landscape learning units. Year 5 will go on trips to Totara Park and Eastern Beach. Homework is assigned on Fridays and due Thursdays. Parent discussions will be held in March and PAT testing occurs in weeks 3-4. Outdoor education requires parent helpers.
