What is medicinal plant
 Medicinal plants refers to use of plants , seeds, roots ,
berries ,leaves, bark of flower for medicinal purpose.
 Medicinal plants are plants that have a recognized
medical use.
 Their uses ranges the production of mainstream,
pharmaceutical products to herbal medicine preparation.
 According to WHO around 21000 plants species have the
potential for being used as medicinal plants.
 Medicinal plants such as Tulsi,Neem,Turmeric,Aloe cure
several common aliments . These are considered as
home remedies in many parts of country.
 It is known fact that lots of consumer are using Tulsi for
making medicines ,pooja and other activities in their day
to day life.
 Important of some herbs with the
Tulsi
 Blood purifier
 Preventing against malaria and dengue fever.
 Chewing tulsi leaves relives cold & flue.
 The leaves are a nerve tonic also sharpen memory.
 Decoction of leaves+ginger+honey =effective remedy
of bronchitis, asthma,influenza,cough&cold
