2. The band’s name is large, in a white
text at the top of the image. As it is
the band’s name, it has been placed
in their signature font.
The title of the band’s new single is
placed to the left of the image, in a
messy, white font connoting the
band’s rock genre. The text is large to
show clearly the single it is
promoting.
Small images and information of the new
singles are shown at the bottom, left half of
the image. This is to show the audience the
new singles coming out and the different
formats and styles that will be available to
purchase.
The image from the singles has been used to promote
the singles, but to also show the audience what the
band looks like, when advertising their main album. The
photograph conveys the band’s grunge style and
therefore shows their genre is pop rock.
Less important information for the
advertisement, such as songs on the album
has been placed in a smaller font on the
bottom half of the advert. The writing is in
white and red, over a black background
which conveys the style of the album. The
record labels’ logos have also been placed in
small on the bottom of the album, in order
to take credit for the album and singles and
provide copyrights.
The main album for the advertisement,
has been shown in a small image at the
bottom of the advert.This is because
the advert is to mainly advertise the
singles featured on this album. Had the
advert been only for the main album,
the image may have been bigger.
