cover. I used a picture
of something which
would be associated
with dance music.

type text tool to show
the band name on my
CD cover.

type text tool to but the
title of the CD on the
cover. I put it underneath
the band name to grab
the audience’s attention
to both texts.

magnetic lasso tool
to edit the bits of
my original imagery
which was not
required and crop
the picture down to
the parts which I
needed.

and consider presenting the data in graphs.

9. I have saved all my flatplans in a folder. They are all easily accessible and will be used
at some point in the project.
10. I have used a grid on Photoshop to ensure that all work is inline when the magazine
cover is being made.

I have created a background colour for my contents page. It’s a
colour which many other colours can look good on.

I have added text on the page which entails the
main other stories in the magazine. Also some of
the cover lines on the title are included.

I have enhanced the
text on the front cover
to try and entice the
audience. I used a
drop shadow to show
this.

I have made a features and
regulars column for the magazine.
I have split the two with a bar. I
did this to make it clear from what
is a regular and what is a feature.
